Who: Bakura & Yuugi (& Malik & Crow & ...whoever!)
Where: Goldenrod
When: Late Morning of 2-13
Summary: A ride back to the big city took its own sweet time with the weather (with a side-trip for Poké-getting) and now a happy Yuugi and Bakura are landing at their new home.
Rating: H for HAPPY.
Log:
Look out below!!
[That happy little bellow came from a small man, floating steadily down to the streets of Goldenrod. The warning seems quite out of place, given he and his companion are falling at maybe half a mile an hour, the Drifblim taking its good time in coming in for a landing.
But that's been the order of the day for a few days now, as the weather turned nice and the trainer, breeder duo distracted, and the world turned so interesting. Why rush already worked fliers to get to town when the weather turned nice?
But here they finally are, plopping down right in the middle of town. And Yuugi should be asking where their new house is, or letting his two still-fresh Pokémon out of their Pokéballs.
Instead?]
Amazing...

Amazing...

Well, he can up and follow, right?
See together what's on the floor, besides MW room.]Yup- Or that breeding centre, I ordered some from there.
And you can get your own.
[Somehow.]

dining roomMonster World room and the staircase up to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms and the main bathroom are.]]no subject
[The Monster World room gets a chuckle. He's only been in Bakura's head for the briefest of moments - and that was when the boy was unconscious, to boot - but all the same, how very fitting.
He wanders into the room for a better look.]
Is that what you're both planning to do? Aside from the time spent in here, that is.

[Yuugi's still not sure enough of the work - especially what to do with the eggs - to say he'll take it on, but he nods all the same.]
I mean, I don't know Bakura-kun's opinion, beyond settling in, but if we're staying put, but collecting Pokémon...

Uh-oh.Someone's pointing at the giant board in the rooms.]Hey, don't forget the games! And, right. Work.
...but, if you're looking for ghosts, are you going to try and find eggs of that type? Or... Heh. We'll have to keep our ears peeled if you're looking for something specific!
[Like, him? Noooo clue what's in one of those eggs Momo's been watching in his room.]
no subject
[He sits down at the board, making himself at home. This is perfect. They'll both be here. He'll encourage that - keep them minding the place so he can have his own life.
And, of course, friends to return home to in the evenings!]
No promises, though. Catching's equal parts skill and luck.
And I'll be on a train again with no net, so carry on without him!
Of course I'm not forgetting the games! We have enough to properly play Monster World now!
[[Just... don't mind that small discoloration on that tower of the castle there. It's just how you know it's his board.]]
And I think I'm going to try and get eggs now. There's not too many ghosts in the wild, I think.
You mean before now, when I was at work? ors
For now, he's too busy grinning in support, as he plops in a chair and looks over the familiar set.]
I don't know where you find ghosts at all, but I can keep an eye out if I find any breeding 'circles', or however it networks.
What about you, Malik? Do you have any short-term plans set?
[Or come to mind in x minutes?]
no subject
[And with that, everything's set!]
With a little luck it won't take long. Smoochum's local, that'll be a big help.

[That's a curious slip-out, Malik, since you wanted to go on trips and train together. But, he's surely just acknowledging they'll have to work, and stick close to here more!
What a good friend.]
Yup! And- if there's anything we can do, to help along the training, just ask!
I don't think I'll have to worry about it with Senzai or Momo, but I bet at least some of my team, will want to fight.
no subject
We already promised, right? But no, I'll battle anytime your Pokémon feel ready. It'll be good experience, and might help all our Pokémon grow closer, too!
Since there's no better feeling than helping a friend grow stronger.
no subject
I was thinking that... I want mine to trust me, but it's important they can rely on each other, too.
[And Momo's friendly manner, and looking after Senzai and Yuugi's clutch of still unhatched, is a good sign. But beyond that. If they could trust Malik's, and Bakura's too...
How could anything cause them real trouble, with these friends around?]
no subject
Ah, you two wanted to meet my other Pokémon, right?
He's not as charming as yours, but I'm fond of him.
[Malik moves back towards the kitchen - bad idea to fill the gaming room with Grimer smell.]
no subject
[And he wants to know his friend's potential friend of a Pokémon for his Pokémon... Or, something.
And among the something, surprisingly little concern. Or flashes of torture-style cards.
...should he be holding a nose yet?]
no subject
Well, for what it's worth....
[He selects one of his PokéBalls and lets his "starter" Grimer out. It pools on the floor and looks around, clearly unsure what it's doing someplace like this.]
It's called a "Grimer". Name fits pretty well.
[It also smells.]
no subject
Ah, that is! Yuugi's, trying a smile at the confused pile of grime.]
Ah-ha, I guess so... With ghosts around, too. They do come in all kinds...
[And, his movement. It is kind of funny, huh? Heehee-]
no subject
Grimer just sits and wallows while Malik shrugs.]
Apparently so. Besides, he's quite pleasant upon further acquaintance.
[Grimer squelches a bit, apparently not in the mood for pleasantries.]
...oh, sorry, Grimer. Were you napping? These are my friends. Let's all get along.
[Go along with it, you living trash pile. Of whom he is inexplicably fond today.]
no subject
Hi there, Grimer. I'm Yuugi, that's Bakura-kun... And this is where your trainer's staying now.
no subject
It's a lovely place! I'm sure you'll get along with everyone once you're more comfortable.
Now say hello.
[Grimer gives him an incredulous look, but turns and waves an arm roughly in the direction of the other Pokémon. Hi, he's Grimer, and he can't act his way out of a paper bag.]
no subject
[Lucky lucky, guess who finds the idea of a shy Grimer is more uplifting than foul play?]
But we'll help him out, right?
[Have a small chirpy sound from Senzai - Momo's too busy still singing to more than smile and wave back.]
no subject
Utterly unfazed by the slime pokemon, Bakura crouches down to smile at Grimer as if he were any other pokemon]] Nice to meet you, Grimer! Poison type, ne?
no subject
That's the one. It'll be good for him to be more social with other Pokémon, so if you don't mind his being out....
[At least Grimer, who has now decided fine, he'll socialize, isn't leaving a trail of anything along the floor as he oozes on over to the other Pokémon.]
no subject
[-and he foresees some apologies on that front from him, if his hatchlings turn out anything like regular babies-]
How else are we supposed to bond with them if they aren't out and around? Or let them make friends?
[Grant it, he's not sure Senzai coming over to touch Grimer's side, to see what he feels like, is friendly... But hey, a start?]
