Summary: A ride back to the big city took its own sweet time with the weather (with a side-trip for Poké-getting) and now a happy Yuugi and Bakura are landing at their new home.

Look out below!!

[That happy little bellow came from a small man, floating steadily down to the streets of Goldenrod. The warning seems quite out of place, given he and his companion are falling at maybe half a mile an hour, the Drifblim taking its good time in coming in for a landing.

But that's been the order of the day for a few days now, as the weather turned nice and the trainer, breeder duo distracted, and the world turned so interesting. Why rush already worked fliers to get to town when the weather turned nice?

But here they finally are, plopping down right in the middle of town. And Yuugi should be asking where their new house is, or letting his two still-fresh Pokémon out of their Pokéballs.

Instead?]

[[Laughs happily, grinning at his friend's expression before holding up a pair of pokeballs and calling back his pair to rest.] I'm going to stop at the pokecenter really quick before we head to the house, okay? Do Senzai and Momo need a refresher?

Huh?

[Oh, sorry- was he supposed to pay enough attention to catch what he asked? Give it a second, Yuugi just needs to blink-process that before he's happy to grin.]

It can't hurt! Senzai could use a rest, I bet. And we wore out Momo!

[And even if they've recuperated since, what kind of breeder doesn't tend his team before looking around at his new home?

He can do that at the same time!]

[[a small laugh, starting to head for the center]] Un, we really did! She did really well! Senzai too!

Aren't they great?! Senzai can really stick up for himself, even though he's so nice about not wanting to hit!

[-and similar praise is what drove the little guy into actually getting into some battles over the weekend. That and the singing, what is with that??

Oh well, Yuugi's just tap stepping along to it-if not humming outright subtlety is key- as he grins Bakura's way.]

But I wouldn't have known how to get him to without you knowing about how to battle!

and here's where I hope I'm remembering where things get done right. :)

[[Bakura laughs, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly]] Aaa, I only helped a little, don't give me your credit, Yuugi-kun!

[[He makes his way over to the computer almost the moment the doors open, quickly retrieving quite a few more of his hoard of poke-friends (all in their balls for now so he wouldn't flood the center!) before handing Fuushi and Athena over to get healed up. Not that they had gotten hurt, but the recharge would help them rest up from their long flight, he was sure.]]

hmmm, well there's the 6 minimum, but I say that's a game techncality. xP No worries!

But it's true! I'd still be struggling to take off if it weren't for you, I know it!

[-and he's surprised at his own exuberant insistence- He means it! But, he's not going to give up the chat until his cheeks hurt from grinning.

But, while he does, there's nothing wrong with following him, and giving curious looks around the center. And the pink-haired nurse behind the counter. (heh, isn't she pretty???)]

So- I just hand my team over to get healed? How long does it take?

I mean about what can be done in each place! :) There's a "more than 6 if you're not training" wave.

It's pretty quick! Less than a minute sometimes.

[The very idea of staying inside too long today seems un-standable. Curious, right? But still true!

There's too much to see, and the singing is too muffled! (Speaking of, Momo's likely raring to do more of it, since she was upon finding her.)

Thinking on it has Yuugi staring out the nearest window.]

-do you think we could just drop off stuff and unpack later?

Of course! [[oh hey, when did Bakura open up his pokeballs? Must have been when Yuugi was looking away because he has Annin back in his hair, a Rotom hovering behind him, and a dratini on each shoulder and a umbreon is now snuggling Carrera in addition to Gollum at his side and Amane now harassing the derpy looking Rotom.]]

Great!

[And, oh- hey! Look at all of them! Yuugi doesn't remember seeing all of these! What are all of them? Especially the curious "Rotom" - he can't help but try and get a closer look at that!

Did his hair just stand up a bit more than usual?]

Whoa, how do you pick which to take out with you?

[[Blackheart did have that effect]]

Aaa-- [[he laughs, rubbing the back of his neck.]] A lot of it is time of day, their personalities and who hasn't been out recently. Zoku hates the daylight, and sometimes I think he still prefers the computer to being outside, so he stays inside the most. Cirrus likes being out when Fuushi is, and Astina and Carrera are a matched pair too, as are Vasuki and Raindrop. [[he nods to the pair on his shoulders]] Both really shy too, so they stay inside more often than now. Shinigami and Kage aren't very social, but Blackheart is. And Amane-chan would be mad at me if I didn't have her with me, Gollum and Annin want to be friends with everyone. Crossword and Hikaru are still just getting to know me too... and then Baku-chan is okay with anything.

Woah, so many...

[But, Yuugi's not shocked he knows all this about his team- he's happy!! Who guessed it. Especially that he's paid so much attention to their bonds in his decisions! As expected from Bakura-kun!]

Hello- I'm Yuugi.

[Did all of them catch that? Do hope so- He's already taking back his own duo from the nurse (when did he manage that??) and calling them out.]

Senzai, Momo. [Quit looking around and singing a listen to this-] These are the Pokémon of Bakura-kun. You'll be seeing lots of each other, so say hello!

[...two curious babies looking up at new and old faces alike!]

[[And he can ramble on about almost all of them at length. Some he's still just getting to know, however And some the mun hasn't given much personality, so the length of those would be limited. But his pokemon are all his friends and Bakura cares very deeply for them all.]]

[[There's a chorus of various pokemon "hello's" (and a wave from the silent Gollum), which prompts a happy laugh from Bakura]]

[In keeping with what he'd told Bakura, Malik doesn't waste any time heading back to the city - though he does return Smoochum to her PokéBall and dally a bit on the outskirts of town. He hadn't really noticed when slipping out of HQ, but Goldenrod City really is amazing...It's been a long time since he actually stopped to appreciate the scenery around him, even if he's been fighting for years for just that privilege.]

Ah, Bakura? I made it....

[So he says into his Gear, but since he's admiring anything and everything, he just might wander by without knowing which is the right house.]

Malik-kun! [[Oh man, you thought he was bad over the gear, he's practically radiating now.

..Doesn't help that there's a Rotom hovering around him that's making his hair poof up just a bit more so it looks like a bit of a cloud.]]

Where in town are you? We'll be right there!

All right! I'll stay right here.

[He holds the Gear up to the nearest street sign, looking pretty pleased himself. There were plenty of singing Pokémon on his way back into town, and while he's still determined to get along with Bakura and Yuugi, he's having trouble working up the usual cold detachment.

Not that he's noticed.]

And then, when I actually caught up!

[Hey look, the fellow who stayed quiet the first talk is chiming in now- if in a less "I've been hovering" tone than expected. He did have unpacking (or, gushing over the house and games and Pokémon) to do!

But now he's poking his head in at Bakura's happy voice.

And, to sum up. Finally!!]

Un, it is! [[smiles over at Yuugi]] He's right near [location], not too far from here! It shouldn't take us more than a few minutes to meet up with him.

...then come on! [He's quite happy to put down the chair he was moving (what?), thanks!] We can't leave him out there and wait for him to get lost.

[-this enthusiasm would be far less strange if it was more "want to know where dangerous man is" and less "let's see the friendly Malik! =D"]

[[another nod before he looks back at the gear]] We'll be right there, Malik-kun!

[[and in a short while, there'll be the unmistakable sight of Yuugiou hair heading your way, Malik. One with a hoppip in it.]]

[Malik has just been chilling as promised, enjoying watching the city and its people when - well.

Waving, he heads on over. So this is what Yuugi looks like in person....What great practice for later, to have this chance! And how fantastic to see them!]

[Brief, quizzical glance at Yuugi. When are you from, and what do you know...?

And - after he lets go of Senzai, who rocks at his feet - he's giving the new arrival quite the look over. It was obvious over the 'Gear and on first sight, but still the double check brings quite the grin to his face.]

I'm glad to see you're okay!

[...that could mean anything, company!]

[That must be your starter. The cute one. Excellent, it shouldn't prove a difficulty.

Malik just grins down, though. Are you acting too? Can't be. But if you know he's "Malik" -- well, plenty of time to investigate. He'll be spending lots of time with his friends!

[He didn't get that. Does that mean- this Malik is from earlier, like Bakura? But, then he'd be an enemy. That doesn't follow! No one could pretend that well to be happy, right?

No, it must be one from waaaaay after! So after he really is a friend!

-you must have good Pokémon too! But, all I've heard about is a "smoochum".

[Malik lets Smoochum out of her PokéBall. She immediately waddles over to say hi to Senzai by doing what comes most naturally: she gets up in his personal space and attempts to give him a kiss.]

Full introductions can wait until we're settled somewhere. Is there anyplace good to sit and talk? Or - I hear you both are staying together! I'd love to see.

[It's so great to see them in person! And their house must be awesome, just like everything else in this city....

Besides, it's good to know where they live for later. Not the usual order for his priorities.]
