Spring Cleaning: the beast wakes;
Who: Suicune (
legendarybeasts), Rocket operatives and bystanders in the area
Where: Route 7
When: May 8th, 8:30PM
Summary: Rockets capture Suicune.
Rating: PG-13
Log:
[It runs. The wind carries it, fog is its mantle, and the ground weeps dew at its passing. It has known only endless sleep for so long, and now, it has awakened to the scream of the grass and the clouds, knowing in its heart that the world's Order is not being kept. The Old One sleeps too, too deep, not watching, and then they all fell after it.
But then it heard whispers, up in its cold mountain hideaway where pure crystal water flows in trickling, shimmering rivulets. The water whispered to it, wake up wake up, I am hurt, and it did. Its brothers sleep still, their consciousness tickling at the back of its mind like a reassurance. It does not know what awaits, only that it must run, and seek, and destroy.]

[The answer is given quickly and dismissively, because there's a far more important matter at hand.]
Typhlosion? What are you thinking? It may be shooting ice, but it's a Water type!
[To try to prove his point, he commands another Leaf Blade from Gallade.]
no subject
How on earth was I supposed to know that if it's shooting ice?!
How do you know, anyway?

This is the largest amount of damage that I seem to be able to inflict on it with a single attack.
[And there's another Discharge from Ampharos.]
This seems to work fairly well, too, when it hits; but not as well as I had hoped. Extremely high Special Defense, probably.

[[And with a flash, his Typhlosion is replaced with his Electrode, who immediately fires off a Light Screen. It seems rather relieved that Selfdestruct hasn't been ordered, for once...]]
Your Pokemon are obviously more powerful than mine; I'll shield you while you attack.

You... ah. Thank you, Doctor. I appreciate this.
[He takes advantage of their new formation to launch a few more attacks.]
I'll be sure to reward you for this when we return.

[[And out pop his Weezing and Typhlosion!]]
Boyle, Haze. Joule, Leer.
[[Both Pokemon obey instantly, like machines. Kato has them wired well.]]
I don't require a reward for doing my job, Gorthan, though I admit I'm interested in what you intend to offer.

... Leer?
Leer. But... it's probably best for Gorthan to trust the guy who's helping him out.
... Even if he just ordered a Leer.]
I am sure we will be able to think of something together, Doctor.
[He will still be spamming that Leaf Blade and Discharge, hoping to get a Paralysis in, eventually.]
no subject
Perhaps we shall.
[[And his Pokemon will start firing Smokescreen towards Suicune, hoping to blind it.]]
no subject
Very well done, Doctor!
[On... Gorthan's end, the Discharge + Leaf Blade spam is more or less set to continue until no PPs are available for them.
... At which point, he realizes, they will probably be screwed.]

Why is it taking so long to defeat this stupid thing?
