Spring Cleaning: the beast wakes;
Who: Suicune (
legendarybeasts), Rocket operatives and bystanders in the area
Where: Route 7
When: May 8th, 8:30PM
Summary: Rockets capture Suicune.
Rating: PG-13
Log:
[It runs. The wind carries it, fog is its mantle, and the ground weeps dew at its passing. It has known only endless sleep for so long, and now, it has awakened to the scream of the grass and the clouds, knowing in its heart that the world's Order is not being kept. The Old One sleeps too, too deep, not watching, and then they all fell after it.
But then it heard whispers, up in its cold mountain hideaway where pure crystal water flows in trickling, shimmering rivulets. The water whispered to it, wake up wake up, I am hurt, and it did. Its brothers sleep still, their consciousness tickling at the back of its mind like a reassurance. It does not know what awaits, only that it must run, and seek, and destroy.]

And what lovely projects they are. Proton's eyes widen a bit, appreciative, as Gorthan talks.]
I like these, Agent. [Not one to mince words, he presses forward:] You mean make pokemon more aggressive? We have microchips that function similarly, but if you could actually breed it into them... [Armies of Rocket-loyal pokemon, no training required. Now that's service.] Just like your 'Evronians', I suppose. Is that where the inspiration came from?

They will be more aggressive, yes. Among other things. Imagine an Electrode who finds as much pleasure in explosions as Kimblee or Dr. Kato do. That is one of my favorite examples, and one I intend to soon turn into a reality. Agent Kimblee has already volunteered a DNA sample some time ago; I have since isolated his individual mutation. All that is left to do is encode it in a genome that can maximize its effectiveness.
My inspiration comes from a variety of sources; but indeed, this is somewhat reminiscent of my work on Evron. Except that working on Pokémon is even more interesting than I initially believed it would be, and is yielding results even beyond my highest expectations.

Pokemon are indeed the best of this world; without them, our lives would be empty. [It's difficult to tell, but like most of the locals, Proton sincerely believes in that special particularity of the human-pokemon bond; he may not be close with his own team, bordering on cruel, but even he wouldn't underestimate how strong and deep that connection runs between the species.] How much data have you acquired so far?

If you are referring to the data I have collected from my fellow Agents, I would say that the amount is currently more than sufficient to begin experimentation. If you desire to contribute by volunteering a sample of your own, Executive, I would be honored to include you.
[He bows his head humbly again.]
