With the perky new song singing about the city, the summer Bug-Catching contest is back on in full force! With everything that's been going on lately, it's high time they start some for-fun things to do. So, mid-afternoon on Thursday, they gather the participants. After the participants check their other pokémon in at the front, they're all asked to line up in the front. From there, one park official reads the rules while another passes out twenty sport balls. Then once everything's settled, they're just about ready to go!

Three... Two... One... Catch!

[Yui didn't have any real goal in particular, besides maybe winning and catching something cute, so she had no problem stopping and chatting! She looked up and smiled obliviously.]

Right? Right? I think that's a good way to catch a friendly pokémon!

[Rather than lose her munna in the grass, Yui was holding her little level-17 Mungi in her arms. Because this was totally a great way to catch bugs!]

I guess it's easy to forget when it's not on the friends page and you forget to track it XD

Whoa! Are there really pokémon like that around? We gotta catch one!

No. [Did she seriously buy that?] But catch a Venipede or its evolution, Scolipede, and it might [eat you alive] do well as something like that.

[Yui thinks it's kind of too bad...but she perks up pretty quickly. There are plenty of cuddly pokémon who aren't pillows!]

Then I'll see if I can find one of those! What are you gonna catch?

[...No, Yui, don't catch one of those. They really might try to eat you alive. Get an Altaria instead, it's like a whole bed at the same time.]

Don't blame me if you become poké food. Me? [Smirk.] All the Beautiflies, except the ones who either get scared of loud people or fall into your tactic.

The ones who...Huh? Are you looking for brave ones or scared ones?

[Because scared ones won't come out for Yui, maybe.]

The ones who won't fly away just because some loud person comes near them. They should be aggressive and attack if you disturb them, so if they just fly away, they're no good.

[Yes, she wants all the butterflies who are like that. Isn't that normal?]

I get it! So you want to catch guard butterflies! Like guard dogs, right?

[...Wow, WOW. She never actually thought about it that way, but it makes so much sense. Yui sets a new record on making Utau quiet with just a few words in such a little time.

She gets over it fast enough and huffs.]

Well, if they're like very aggressive guard dogs, then I guess... [you could put it that way.] Or like furious wild cats. [Gotta love Ikuto cats.]

But, you know... I've never seen any kind of butterflies act like guards. Do you think you can train them to do that?

So - not that I'm interested or anything - but you come from a normal world, then? Anyone or anything can be trained to do anything [with the wrong, horrible and nightmare-ish ways? Forcing?] if you know how to do it.
