[Anywhere in Johto and Kanto, there are people interacting. Some of these strangers interacting with other strangers. Some of these folks are your old friends. The insanity has happened yet again, and boy will it be insane.

In short, this is The Ultimate Mingling post version 2, where everyone can run into each other again and again. Damage will only sometimes be repaired, but it doesn't matter--have fun with it! It's primarily for those in the fourth wall who run into another oddball from some other mythical land who's going "What's this place?" just like them, but for everyone who wants to just continue going nuts. Seriously guys, why did you guys let Sunny even bother writing a description. JUST DO FUN THINGS.

But try not to blow up the world, okay?

[ god. dammit. hadn't he had enough on his plate already? managing his friends, dealing with his father, and now...this. ]

[ whatever this even is. ]

[ the delcatty at his side purred curiously as he wandered goldenrod, glancing at all the cities around. okay, he at least knew pokemon. what kid didn't know about pokemon at least a little? and he could tell this was supposed to be pokemon but... ]

[ okay he must have just. fallen asleep at his computer. he couldn't understand why he would do such a thing, but apparently he did. ]

[ dear god it was so bright. ]

[ so hi people. have a squinting, strapping young man in a dapper suit wandering around, looking as lost as ever. this was crazy and he had no idea what to do. actually, he may just be approaching you! ]

Pardon me, but...what exactly is going on here?

[And it looks like he's approached a cat. Unless he'd really approached a nearby NPC and mistaken her and the Togepi and Zubat sitting with her on a rail for their Pokemon. Anyhow, she reacts to hearing him, looking at him, shifting her weight and standing a little more on her back legs, and opening her mouth.]

I take it you just found yourself here.

You've been pulled into a country called Johto. It happens to people from all different worlds, but something is - stranger than usual about it now.

[ that is exactly what he had done, though now he's doing a bit of a double take. okay, pokemon were one thing. but a cat that talked? ]

[ that was a different story. then again, okay being stuck here like this little kitty says could of course point to very unusual things happening easily but still. ]

[ still not what he was expecting.]

I...I see.

[ okay jaspers, regain your composure. straightening himself a little, he fixes his collar and bowtie before smiling. ]

That is indeed what happened. Finding myself here, that is. I wasn't aware I was being brought here, so of course I have little idea of if that is actually true or not, but for now I'm inclined to believe it is. This is just too...fantastical to be anything but that.

Unless I am vividly dreaming, of course.

Stranger than usual? How could it get any stranger than usual? Or I suppose the correct answer would be, what is it like usually then?

[She smiles a little here.]

When I was last taken here, I'd changed shape into a human; apparently that's normal for creatures who come here who aren't already. Perhaps it's to put us on equal ground and ensure we can care properly for our Pokemon.

[The Togepi cooes, picking up a Pokeball shell. This cat's a bit more dextrous than most, but using a Pokeball with paws of any kind still doesn't quite compare to using one with hands

Curiouser and curiouser... So this is what you look like...normally? Where do you come from that cats talk? Or is that the work of Johto as well?

No, it isn't Johto - this is completely the way I am naturally. I come from the Digital World.

The...Digital World?

[ wow okay he doesn't understand any of this. ]

[ or okay he understands it but his brain just isn't processing it correctly he doesn't think. ]

And what, pray tell, is the Digital World?

It's a world parallel to the "Real" or "Human" world, made of data, with the creatures native to it, like me. We're called Digimon, or "Digital Monsters". I suppose it would be easy to think of us as living programs.

Of course, I wouldn't know that the human world you know is even close to the one I know.

Digital Monsters. So like Pocket Monsters - the name in which "Pokemon" comes from. I suppose I'm less surprised now by a speaking cat. That's strange though, there's nothing like that in our world.

[ though...digimon sounds familiar. johto, you are a strange place indeed. ]

Alright, last question I hope. What exactly is the point of us being here then?
