[Anywhere in Johto and Kanto, there are people interacting. Some of these strangers interacting with other strangers. Some of these folks are your old friends. The insanity has happened yet again, and boy will it be insane.

In short, this is The Ultimate Mingling post version 2, where everyone can run into each other again and again. Damage will only sometimes be repaired, but it doesn't matter--have fun with it! It's primarily for those in the fourth wall who run into another oddball from some other mythical land who's going "What's this place?" just like them, but for everyone who wants to just continue going nuts. Seriously guys, why did you guys let Sunny even bother writing a description. JUST DO FUN THINGS.

But try not to blow up the world, okay?

And as usual, any format is welcome.]

Walter Beck | Fable

[Somewhere in the Dark Cave system... An old man has sort of "poofed" awake from a year-long stay in limbo. He huffs a minute, stretches his back, mutters something along the lines of where-am-I-even, slowly and groggily moves along to the conclusion that he must be in Johto because it's more probable than him being anywhere else... and slowly rises into a morbid horror when the haze thins in his senses and it's still pitch black.]

No... Balls.

[He feels around for his - when did he get his sword back? - his Pokegear, fumbles with it, goes to verify his location.]

Balls. Balls, balls, balls, baaaaallllllls...

["'Kachuu?" says the voice of a Pokemon partner. The old man jumps.]

-- Finn!

...Of-bloody-course, what a perfect nightmare, I go drift off into a several months' sleep and wake up in the "Dark Cave" - this has got to be a trick of some kind, or a spell, the work of one of those Ghosts this place's got, even!

Whatever thought it'd play a spooky little game with us -- [This is a stupid thing to say. He hesitates to say it. But he says it anyhow...] -- show yourself!

[The Pikachu with him calls a "Cha!" which any Pokewhisperer would translate into "I got this, bro". His cheeks glow, and...

Finn used FLASH!

The cave fills with light. Walter's got his sword in his hand.

And all of a hair-raising sudden, the music changes.

Staring the old man and his Pikachu down is a huge Hydreigon, ducking its dominant head down low, shoulders nearly rubbing the ceiling. Walter gasps and draws his sword back while the Pikachu drops sparking onto all fours for action.

Anyone else in and up for fighting dragons?]

[[The cities in Johto became a bit much for Page, at times; this was one of them. So she'd decided to go for a bit of a wander through one of the regions many cave systems. There was something comforting about the atmosphere within them, something that reminded her of home, and grounded her.

Not to mention the smell was far more pleasant than that of her HQ.

However, it appeared that this particular trip in the caves wouldn't be of the ordinary variety, and not just because her Kangaskhan, Harper, was unusually tense.

She hears his voice before she hears the dragon, but the latter suddenly doesn't matter.]]

....Walter?

[[Page breaks into a run, her Pokemon scrambling after her.]]

Walter! It's really you!

[[The relief and joy in her voice is palpable; finally, someone from Albion that she can actually stand the sight of! For a moment, she doesn't even register the fact that there's a Hydreigon standing before her, although Harper quickly moves beside Finn into a battle stance.]]

It's so good to see you, although I could've done without your friend here!

[[Drawing her own sword, Page darts next to Walter, watching the dragon carefully, even though she can't wipe the smile from her face.]]

Page -- ?

[He thinks he hears her voice just an instant before the sight of the huge three-headed demon dragon registers; after it does he chances a glance over his shoulder and isn't sure whether to believe what he's seeing - times before in the dark with monsters, it wouldn't have done any good to, and honestly, how convenient would that be?

But he can't shake himself from knowing that it's got to be Page, for real, here in Johto, rushing over with a partner Pokemon close behind, whenever she got here and whatever she's doing in these caves. Once she and Harper get into position next to him and Finn, he finds himself able to correct himself, bracing himself for less of a mess and more of a battle.]

Who, the rabbit? He takes some getting used to, but he earns his keep well enough! [He tries to carry the shot at levity with a smile of his own - but honestly, the combination of anxiety and confusion at the position he's suddenly been placed in, shock and adrenaline, and now the best type of surprise at finally seeing a familiar, unarguably friendly face - here and now of all times and places - is mounting into a sort of giddiness that charges his tone.] Oh, likewise, Page, likewise... I couldn't be happier with the day you picked to tour the caves!

[The Hydreigon starts to growl, hunkers down, and starts to lurch closer; Walter snaps his attention back on it and tenses his sword arm, but no later than that, Finn launches onto its main head with a Quick Attack. Middle head tossing, the Hydreigon's right hand-mouth comes plunging and snapping at the two Albion revolutionaries-turned-trainers and Harper.]

[[Swinging her sword defensively towards one of the Hydreigon's snapping heads, Page can't restrain a laugh. Finally, someone from home who doesn't fill her with the urge to shoot them on sight!]]

The rabbit is more than acceptable; I'm a bit more concerned with this fellow here!

[[But not even the sight of the Hydreigon is enough to damper Page's elation at seeing Walter; really, the fact that the two of them are fighting side by side against a common foe is almost...nostalgic, filling her with memories of their battles at home in Albion. Really, if they didn't have the Hydreigon to contend with she'd probably be hugging him; wouldn't that be a sight!]]

Don't worry; compared to what we're used to at home, this will be easy. Really, I haven't been this happy in a long while! I've been going insane in this place!

[[Harper forces the Hydregion back harder with a Dizzy Punch, keeping an eye on both her partner and her companions. It wouldn't do if she let her trainer's friend get hurt, after all.]]
