[Anywhere in Johto and Kanto, there are people interacting. Some of these strangers interacting with other strangers. Some of these folks are your old friends. The insanity has happened yet again, and boy will it be insane.

In short, this is The Ultimate Mingling post version 2, where everyone can run into each other again and again. Damage will only sometimes be repaired, but it doesn't matter--have fun with it! It's primarily for those in the fourth wall who run into another oddball from some other mythical land who's going "What's this place?" just like them, but for everyone who wants to just continue going nuts. Seriously guys, why did you guys let Sunny even bother writing a description. JUST DO FUN THINGS.

But try not to blow up the world, okay?

I have never minded listening to you prattle on, Rose. [If anything, it was practically a requirement for being her friend.]

[ooc: And then Kanaya runs away for a month because oh my god awkward. She'll go live on Vriska's couch or something.]

Well then, we begin in the year 1996. A glorious year it was, but the only relevant piece of information that you need to care about is that this was the year Pokemon made its debut. [[This is when she whispers something to her scalebeast, who all too happily bends down to scoop Kanaya up. If Kanaya doesn't put up a fight, they will begin walking along like it ain't no thang!]]

Created as a pair of games for the Gameboy handheld gaming system, these video games featured a young hero who had finally become of age and therefor was sent on the journey of his lifetime. Pokemon at his side, it was now seemingly his job in society to embark on this adventure!

[Kanaya at least scoops up her Roselia right before she's grabbed, and sets the little plant down behind her. Someone should probably tell her about pokeballs at some point.]

[She does listen at first, although enough of the words mean nothing that she eventually finds a moment to interrupt.]

Basically, the entire point I suppose is to journey with your companion around the two different regions. Seeing sights, filling your Pokedex, catching and raising more if you so choose. If you're a trainer, it's generally accepted that you challenge gyms and win badges. If you're a breeder, you breed Pokemon. Of course, there's nothing wrong with doing the opposite despite your title. Hell, I've been doing both myself. You should have on you, somewhere, what is called a Pokegear. That is your everything, basically. Map, Pokedex, Radio, form of communication. Everything.

[[ooc: It's okay, Kanaya. Shhhh. At least she would be beginning in New Bark, so she'd have a little traveling to do to ease the awkward if they got the conversation out of the way early?]]

[As Kanaya listens, she starts hunting through her pockets, eventually coming up with a pokedex which she starts poking at absently.] It says I am a breeder.

[ooc: Hmm. Or I could bring her in from the second intermission, then when she comes back she'd know about them which would soften the 'oh god emotions go away'. Hmm. Although it wouldn't be as funny.]

Then the general idea is to breed your Pokemon. For what purpose other than to supply trainers with stock to choose from? I've no idea. Nor do I know how or why Johto choose who to be a trainer and who to be a breeder. It can be a rather rewarding job though.

Again though, if you'd prefer to travel and challenge gyms? You are completely allowed to. [[She digs into her purse, pulling out a slim badge case and showing it off. Through the glass cover you can see ten badges - eight from Johto, two from Kanto, though there's no indication which is which.]]

I'm six away from completing the set.

Hmm. Both sound...distracting, at least. [She's still not sure about this whole prospect though.] How do you 'win' at breeding?

[Ooc: Indeed they are, and I shall have to think on it. as it would rather directly effect Rose, do you have an opinion? Also I am leaving work so no more speed tags. :(]

I'm not sure. I don't know if there is a way to 'win' at breeding. Perhaps monopolize the market, but that's not very fun if you're aiming to make friends.

[[ooc: I'm fine with either! Rose is extremely comfortable and concrete in her relationship, so she would more feel bad for Kanaya and the awkward situation she must be in than feel too much awkwardness herself over it. And that's okay! Have a good day!]]

Are there variations on health and stamina like frog breeding?

[She and Jade had spent far too much time breeding frogs, to be honest.]
