[It couldn't possibly be Jake, could it?

Except it wouldn't be anyone else. Jake is not the sneakiest either, but attacks from above are not expected- so Dirk only has the time to glance up before he's getting a faceful of snow.]

[There's a reason Susan is waiting nearby, just in case her trainer does something dumb.

He looks like an excited puppy dog. If he had a tail, it'd be wagging.]

Hahah! Don't be such a wallflower, Dirk, join in the fun!

[Some of that got down his neck and it's cold and there is no way that Jake isn't going to pay for this. Dirk doesn't answer, just scoops up a handful of snow, packs it quickly, and throws it right at Jake's face, all as quickly as possbile.]

[Bulls-eye. Jake shakes his head and retaliates with a volley of snowballs!]

[Dirk, in the meantime, is dodging wherever possible, and continuing to aim his own snowballs right for Jake's face.]

[Rude, Dirk. He has to shield himself with his arms...and this is a dumb mistake. Jake flails and slides off the roof. Susan the Gardevoir just sighs as she uses her abilities to stop his fall and set him gently on a snowbank.

Which she then has a good pile of snow fall from the roof and onto Jake. He splutters, totally trapped in a snowy, extremely cold pile.]

[Jake getting covered in snow is more than enough reason for Dirk to call off his own attack. Instead, he approaches the pile, watching as Jake flails.]

Susan has a very odd and cold sense of humor, I think.

The least you could do is be grateful to her for saving your neck.

[Dirk's even going to be a gentleman and offer Jake a hand up.]

I am! I could have done without her dumping more snow on me, though!

[Jake will take that hand. Susan just looks amused.]

Think of it as a lesson. Next time you try to ambush someone from the roof, you're going to get snow dumped on you.

[Huffs as he shakes the snow out of his hair. Kind of fails, but at least it got the worst of it out.]

You mean because it was there? Jesus, Jake, if you wanted an expression out of me, you didn't have to risk your life to get it.

[Hope Dirk's cool with Susan talking to both of them instead of making her trainer look like he's lost his mind. Jake sticks his tongue out at Susan.

[Dirk is.. well, he's maybe a bit surprised about it at first, but Jake doesn't seem surprised by it so he assumes that it's normal.

[He's had three months to get used to his psychic-types talking to him. Jake's about to say something, but Susan beats him to it.]

Don't worry about it. I am already used to him pulling stupid stunts like this.
