[Guess who is avoiding the devil plant? It's Dave Strider and he's snagging a snack to slowly devour while he watches the chaos. It's weird to be around so many people but he never wants to be anywhere else. He leans against the doorway, wearing that tacky sweater Mom got him.]

[[Madhouse or not, she's gotta get some food. Especially if there are sweets in here. Which is what she's mainly grazing on oops...

She's caught wearing that sweater Mom got her, because who wouldn't wear a sweater your mother got for you? And is sporting her shades, like usual as of late. Though they're worn in place of her headband today.]]

[Hanging out in a nicely made hiding fort, Jane is just going to peeeeek through the "window" she made, a few snowballs made and ready at her knees.

[What's the point of getting a bunch of warm clothing if you're not going to use it? Dirk's wearing his coat from Jane and the hat from John, and if you could get him to take his hands out of his pockets you could see that he's wearing the gloves/mittens from Mom Lalonde.

Good luck getting him to take them off, though. Right now, he's just standing on the sidelines watching things, the spoilsport. A handful of snow down his collar would probably change that- if anyone can get close enough to manage it.]

[John is so ready for this. So. Ready. It's time to finally put those ghost gauntlets he got for Christmas last year to good use. Why stick to two arms when you can have four?]

[Or better yet...six! What better partner for a snowball fight than a Haunter? x4 disembodied arms combo. Slimer lives for snowball fights, though he's a bit of a cheater. Where did that snowball that just hit you in the face come from? We just don't know. Oh the perks of being able to turn invisible. Or to phase through lobbed snowballs.]

[He's not the most reliable of partners though, he's hit John in the face a few times already.]

[A snowball fight? You bet Jade is in on this. She's enlisted the help of her Teddiursa and Jigsaw, her Banette (or, more accurately, they volunteered). Prepare for a lot of flying snowballs (mostly from Jade and Jigsaw; enthusiastic as she is to help, Teddiursa isn't the best at making snowballs)!]

[Ho, ho, the mistletoe, hung where you can see! Somebody waits for you~

Okay, no, there's literally mistletoe EVERYWHERE in the doorways. Because Mom is a sneaky bitch. Beware, though, some of the Pokemon might take it upon themselves to move it around to cause mischief with their trainers!]

[Wow, Jane doesn't know why, but after all those spiked drinks, she keeps needing to mosey to the bathroom. Moving out into the party area again and yeah just going to stand in this doorway a minute, where are her legs..]

[ How the hell do you cross from one room to another without getting stuck under the mistletoe? Aradia's sort of edging around the sides so far, but who knows how long that'll work. Especially when attempting to edge in or out of the kitchen, where there is much jostling and activity. ]

[Jake is not drunk somehow, but it'll be really easy to catch him underneath that devil plant somewhere.]

[Dirk's been taking note of where the mistletoe is when he can, and has taken to avoiding those spots he knows it is. Not that he has anything against kissing in principle. He's done plenty of corpse-smooches at this point. He just doesn't want to get caught with a random person.

Not that he'll succeed, since eventually he gets distracted and stops paying attention to it.]

[Oh hell no. He's watching where that plant has been put and avoiding those spots. He glances up and keeps track of them. So when they start getting moved he knows something's up. Namely bored pokemon. But eventually he's under one without realizing it.]

[Since John has this nasty habit of not paying attention to what's going on around him half the time, he likely won't notice the mistletoe until he stands underneath a clump of it for too long and someone Jane decides to do something about that.]

[But once he's been made aware of the plant, he won't exactly try to avoid it but he won't linger under it either. He figures with everyone else avoiding it, he's probably safe. Only he's not. From time to time a certain mischievous Haunter might just move one of those pesky clumps over his master's head when he's standing still and not looking. Especially if he's standing next to someone else.]

[Gamzee sees nothing wrong with random makeouts, this is one human tradition he can totally get on board with. So he'll just be chilling in one of the doorways with no intents of moving out of the way until he gets a smooch.]

[It's really frustrating being in a house full of mistletoe and underage kids. Seriously, how many adults are even in this house? Not enough for Bro's taste. Avoiding any Hansen incidents is turning out to be really goddamn hard with all this mistletoe around.

[[Rose is a little tipsy, pretty happy, and distracted by all the hustle and bustle of the party. She hasn't dealt with Gamzee and Mom yet, so she's still in a great kissing mood, not that she's looking for chances to. Oh no, she's trying to avoid the mistletoe but...when you're busy watching how happy everyone is, you kind of don't notice that you're wandering under mistletoe laden doorways.

[ Aradia brought Indy, Malachite, Quartz, Citrine, Panini and Fluorite. For once she has no eggs on her until gifts are handed out. So if anyone wants any of them for Pokemon-related shenanigans, this would be the comment to hit up. They'll mostly stick together, although Aradia can be found with any/all of them at various times. They're all fairly well behaved, although Indy will be up to scaring people if he can get away with it, and Panini and Citrine are huge gossips. ]
