[Vanitas is kind of incredibly glad he brought a water bottle; one sip of that punch had him awkwardly dumping the rest down the sink. It tastes weird, and he's too hyper aware of THINGS GOING DOWNHILL that he hasn't even really noticed the mistletoe.

The hell is it anyway?

Leaving the kitchen, there's a Rose in his way at the door; so he does what he thinks is appropriate. Poke in the side, with a warning of tickles.]

[[It's a magical kissing plant Vani. You're going to love it. Almost as much as you would have loved that punch had you not dumped it out!

But SQUEAK!!! Someone was a little caught off guard and giggles as she twists away from those fingers -- It's Vani!

[Yeah, he can't help a snorted chuckle at that squeak, though the pounced hug has him blinking. Returning the hug though, he winds up chuckling again.]

[[And then she looks up, and oh. That sure is mistletoe.]]

[[Just pointing up at that little plant.]]

[Helping steady her at that wobbling, he quirks an eyebrow at the point and looks up.]

That's mistletoe. Tradition says that you can't leave this spot until you give the lady a kiss~ [[A pause.]]

Well. Really, any two people caught under the mistletoe must share a kiss before they move on. Doesn't hafta be a lady.

[Somehow he was hoping it was just some force field generator. Looking a little awkward.] ... Kisses are reserved.

I can't even kiss your cheek? [[She's a big giggly ball right now.]] Those count too you know!

[Derpderpderp. He'll turn his head while giving that mistletoe a narrow eyed look.] You don't get in trouble for cheek kisses when you have a significant other?

Well that largely depends on your singf---siginf---special someone. But I would be surprised if Karkat wasn't gettin' a few with how much mistletoe there is. I'm sure John is too! Now see, if we started snogging then there'd be a problem.

[Kind of a snerk, but on the other hand, Vani takes a glance around the room. In the end, he shrugs.] Alright, cheek kiss it is.

Hooray! [[Slight wobble as she gets onto her toes, hands going to his shoulders to steady herself, but just planting a kiss on his cheek!]]
