[Her answer is slightly absent as she tugs on a sleeve just a tiny bit, and then pulls on the back a little, circling around Aradia before she gives a little satisfied nod, stopping in front of her again.] Okay, it seems to fit perfectly. I was a bit worried, everyone seems to have grown a little.

[She shrugs.]I made everything but Karkat lent me the money for supplies.

I think we're closer in the timelines than some of the others, so...

[ Aw, Karkat. He does care! Although his caring about Kanaya was never a question Aradia had. ] You must have worked pretty hard, though. Have you been sleeping enough?

Yes. Although thinking too hard about timelines seems to give me a headache.

[She hesitates at that question because no, no she hasn't.] Ah...how much sleep do humans need?

I hear that a lot. It's not like you need to worry about them, anyway! Nor do I right now.

[ Well, that's basically an answer in and of itself. Kanaya is getting a little frown now. ] Eight or nine hours, I think! Did you get any at all?

Well, I...[She pretends to think about it.] I believe I slept for...three...at some point yesterday?

Kanaya! You should at least take a nap or something.

Well...probably. However there is a party going on, and all of these people, so even if I wanted to sleep I probably wouldn't be able to...

[Best excuse? or BEST EXCUSE.]

Well, you at least have to sleep in tomorrow! No staying up to ridiculous hours. You might make yourself sick otherwise!

I...[She sighs.] I will try. Someone will have to help clean up though and...

[And she assumes it will be here because that's just what she does.]

And that will not be you! I can help. And so can my pokemon. We've all gotten decent amounts of sleep.

[Kanaya looks a tad unhappy about that because she actually likes to clean. Or at least to make things orderly.]

I promise there will be plenty left to do when you wake up. There always is!

I will consider sleeping at least. [She almost laughs.] Between Karkat and yourself I may not have much of a choice in the matter.

We're just worried about you, Kanaya! Anyway, it is pretty lively, isn't it?

It is a pretty good way to meet everyone, isn't it? I showed up around the time we were doing a birthday week for - oh, Roxy, Rose, Jade, Jake and Dave.

Oh, I missed all those wriggling days... [She hesitates for a moment. Should she make them belated birthday gifts? Hmm...]

I wouldn't worry about it, really - not until and unless you're here for their next ones!

Maybe. I could at least make Rose something, that has become rather routine on the meteor.
