[He starts to ask why not and looks up to where she's focusing. Then he stops. Full tilt. There's this blank spot where his brain used to be. Wow. He actually thinks better of saying she's kissed him once.

For one. She won't remember and two he was pretty dead at the time. He folds his arms over his chest and tries to look casual.]
