As said above, this is a catch-all log for those who want to play out Rocket interactions outside of regular posts. I'll have threads set up for each base. Comment where your character is hanging out and provide some scenarios if you want. Possibly add dates as well, in case you want to make more comments in the future. Others will then respond to your comment/scenarios and wonderful threads will ensue. This should be a great opportunity to have your Rocket meet others and develop bad guy CR.

[If your character visits the labs at any point, they will most likely find Dist there, working away on something. He'll either be at his desk inputting research data with a hoard of stones and items strewn about, or in one of the larger lab rooms working on some large machinery. What purpose do these machines serve? Well, you could always ask him. He doesn't bite...much.

He can also be found coming or going from the base, usually with his Roserade at his side. Either he's heading off on business or a training session. Why is this scenario so noteworthy? Well, his off-work attire is somewhat...eyecatching. Surely it's a conversation starter.]

[Ren had developed a habit of wandering around the base. It was always interesting to see what happened and maybe it would give him some information he could deliver to others. He didn't really participate in anything because science, how do you do that...

Today was just one of the days he was wandering. He spotted Dist and ... some odd machines. Whatever they were for.]

Good afernoon, Mr. Rose.

[When addressed, Dist glances up from a console on the machine he's working on. He looks a bit tired, like he may have missed some sleep last night due to his work. He smiles at the other Rocket regardless, a little curious why he's visiting the labs of all places. He doesn't see Ren around this area much.]

Hello, Ren. What brings you to my neck of the woods, hm?

[saxsongs]

[The lab personnel have always seemed rather hard working and Dist doesn't seem to be an exception.]

I was just checking if there's anything that I could help with. I have a day off, so I might as well use it well.

[By spying.]

A day off? How fortunate for you.

[He doesn't actually care; he spends his days off working anyway...oops.

He stands up from his chair to stretch.]

I don't believe I need any assistance at the moment—unless you're hiding a secret talent for machinery—but it's thoughtful of you to offer.

Unfortunately, the only thing I'm good at with machines is to play games with them. [Or breaking them. That had happened a few times.]

May I ask what you're working on? While I'm no expert, it does look rather fascinating.

[At least he won't be breaking Dist's machines then. He wouldn't appreciate that.

He gazes back up at the machine.]

It is a machine to analyze evolution in progress. In theory, it is supposed to record changes in molecular structure when an item is introduced to it. I also want to see what part of the item itself is causing the Pokemon's DNA to react.

[No worries. He knows when not to touch something.]

Ah... that's interesting. I have wondered about different evolution types before, but just thinking logically never gets you far in this place. [Like why you can't fly without some HM and some badge... seriously, why?]
