Who: Sho and whoever
Where: Cherrygrove
When: Feb 5thish?
Summary: Sho is trying to get his thoughts in order and regain enough strength to go train his babies.
Rating: PG for a swear word? IDK.
Log:
There were things he had to think about that he’d never had to think about before. This world was not his world, he didn’t know the rules yet. Sure, he ignored the rules as often as he felt like it, but the truth of the matter is that an artist can only create art that breaks the rules if they know what those are. Without that basis, all you have is garbage. Some things were clear. He couldn’t do anything without these creatures, these pokemon. Much as he disliked working with people, having things work for him was perfectly acceptable in his mind. Indeed, animals; however smart they might be, were far more pleasant an idea than attempting to build up a collection of people who would follow orders.
He didn’t like owing the woman, either. Back in Shibuya? Sure, he’d take advantage of people - although in his own way he paid them back. Megaphone for microphone, for instance. It was even more important in a strange world to keep the equations balanced. Here he was out of his depth, and while he was certain that he’d figure it out soon enough - he didn’t know enough. Not yet. Having someone else to hand while he figured it out? Well, it wasn’t that much different than making a Pact. He’d follow her around and learn alongside this person who, for whatever reason, had nursed him back to health until there was a reason not to do so, and he’d pay her back so that other people looking at him wouldn’t see a sponge unwilling to pull his weight.
He was going to be the fucking best, whatever it took...and he knew that it was going to take a hell of a lot of work. He was many things, was Minamimoto Sho, but lazy wasn’t one of them. A plan of attack; create the best possible team and claw his way to the top of the ranking while looking for a way home. Use this woman to make things easier. Be the best. He’d adjust as he needed to, he wasn’t the kind of person to stick to one plan if something better came along.
These thoughts in mind, Sho was making his way around the town carefully as he worked to rebuild his stamina after so long sick. Sure, RZF was fretting when she wasn’t trying to steal from pockets (his or passers by) but the ex-Reaper was determined.
He'd talk to anyone who wanted to talk, though. It'd be a nice break from walking.

She offered no formal invitation to join forces. She merely started to walk again, grabbing the pants by one leg and pulling them from her shoulders. "I had worked with them a bit while you were down. It should be easier for you to train them now."
The continuation of the conversation, at least, seemed to her expectation that he'd be right behind her, and thus her acceptance of the presented proposition.

Yes.
"They are versatile things. They will be able to evolve into many different forms." He got some curious cheeping about that, and petted ⊽ gently.

"Have you decided which you'll try first?"

"Umbreon & Jolteon." Sho said with a firm nod, "Reminds me of what I was." The two Eevees chortled softly to each other as Sho talked about the Eeveelutions.
RZF was catching up with Beelze. Trainers, man.

Beelze the Munchlax, finally having acquired a proper name somewhere during their stay in Cherrygrove, was busily finishing off the bag of crisps Belphe had allowed her to have as a reward for not making a scene while they'd gone shopping for a week's worth of rations. Though she offered her two cents here and there as RZF chatted.
It generally amounted to everything RZF had missed while she'd been cooped up in that room the last while. So many battles, man.

"This board must have a rule against that as well."
His animal form, not his singing.

She had yet, of course, to encounter anyone protected by high-level pokemon. But even pokemon, she imagined, could only protect their master so much from someone truly determined to cut them to pieces.
Good thing in her world she did the cutting.

A hand reached out to place itself on Hades' muzzle and pet it, as the ponyta endured the attention with a snort, seeming to wish these humans had four legs like he did. They were NEVER going to get to get there at this rate. Walking was for chumps.

"Last, take over." He skipped a few steps. Sue him.

"Oh? You think you'll conquer this world?"
no subject
"Won't know until I try." Yes. Yes he does. "Almost managed, last time. I did have power then. Still have my mind... & these." he patted the Eevees in his coat (why should they walk? They were tiny and slow!) and scratched RZF behind an ear. She was riding on his shoulder, temporarily not after his hat based on a truce along the lines of you can ride too if you leave the hat alone.

Considering Beelze had just recently reached level 20, she imagined the potential for power in these creatures was vast. Which meant that no one who had been here for as long as some of those she'd talked to, were likely to be intimidated much by either of their teams at this point.
"I'd like to see that." she said, the statement giving no hint one way or the other how it ought to be taken.

Eevee! Eevee!

A pause, and then "Perhaps you would like to get caught up with some practice. Mine will go easy on yours."
Beelze cocked her head and blinked. She wasn't going up against the babies in a real battle.

"Bell Curve." Sho agreed amiably.

The munna hovered a few inches off of the ground, seeming disoriented as she blinked a few times, drifting immediately to a nearby flower to stare at it.
