It was a nice night.

Probably the most simplistic description ever, but it was the best description Twilight could think of. Seated outside, mug of hot chocolate in her hands, watching the Illumise and Volbeat mating dance above them, that was the best description she could think of. Nice.

She'd come out here to just enjoy the night and think for a while, not ever having been one to go in for Hearts and Hooves Celebrations anyway, but as time passed and she watched the bug Pokemon, she found herself thinking that there was really only one thing that could make this moment better.

Wait, are you telling me you take cooking instructions from Pinkie?

Well, yeah! She does live above the Cakes' bakery so she's gotta learn something decent about cooking.

(Unfortunately, most of what she's learned does involve a lot of sugar and tutti.)

I suppose that's true, she is a good baker. It's just... most of her recipes are, how should I put it... unconventional?

(Eee! She's grateful she never tried those. They'd totally remind her of rainbows from Cloudsdale.)

Yeah...guess that's why most of what I cook comes out too sweet or too spicy.

Yeah, but I don't always go by Pinkie's recipes or instructions! Some of what I make turns out pretty good. Maybe I could make some meals for you?

...Of course I haven't! I'm an athlete, Twilight; I make sure to know what foods are good enough to eat.

(She turns her head away while closing her eyes in frustration, slightly hurt by her friend's comment.)

I'm just confused as to how you can feed yourself at home, but still can't do some of the more simple tasks.

(A huge part of Rainbow loves confusing Twilight. Now isn't one of those times since she can't enjoy it much.)

Probably 'cause as awesome as cocoa is, it's not required for an athlete to have every day.
