A Rest In Olivine

Summary: The AvengerBros and Imogen arrive in Olivine and plan to stick around a while, and stay with Danny.
Rating: PG to be safe, but if it goes beyond that, it will be noted.
Log:
Olivine is full of food and wine and good times, it's a lovely city right on the water. It's considered a romantic city, probably because of the good date spots, wine, and the water.

Have at it guys, put up some threads, have people reply, and good times! Only planned things happening during their time here is Danny meetIng the superheroes, otherwise the freedom is yours.

[Once getting into the city, Steve realizes he has no idea where Danny even lives in Olivine, just that he does. So, instead of wandering around, he sends Danny a short message on his gear saying "We're in Olivine, but I don't know where you live. Directions? Meet us?" and waits for a response, observing Olivine from where he's at.]


(ooc: anyone can reply, Steve is just waiting for a reply as to where to go, otherwise open for interactions)

Just start at the Pokemon Center and head toward the beach. My place is the one with absolutely nothing in the yard, no trees or rocks or anything. Oh, and I painted my emblem on the mailbox too.

[he's suddenly very curious why Danny has nothing in his yard, not even rocks. And sure, he doesn't know the emblem, but looking for the mailbox with the funny symbol is something he can do.]

[Stopping beside him, Tony takes in the look of the city. It'll do he supposes, not exactly California, or New York City. But then again, nothing was. Pep, looking perpetually refreshed as a lopunny, held Tony's hand and looks around with anticipation as she adjusts her still loved red and gold bow.]

So, where's the kid?

[Steve puts his gear away after getting the reply and looks at Tony]

Just got some directions, his place is toward the beach.

[Grace stays by Steve's side, she's not happy that Pep is not the same size as her, but she just ignores Tony and Pep's existence right now, and Amber thinks everything is great from her drape on Steve's shoulder]

[Steve wasn't expecting Obito either by the fact that he looks a little caught off guard for a second at his appearance]

No, I wasn't aware of that, but I also didn't expect to see you either.

[Oh dear. He sees a rather familiar face over there while he's on his usual beach session with his Feebas, Swampert and one of his Blastoise. He doesn't have proper covering for his arms, and he's still not comfortable with the possibility of people seeing his scars. But it'd be rude not to greet an acquaintance.

Hopefully they wont be too obvious.]

Steve Rogers.

[He tucks the little grey fish back into his ball, but the two adults amble along behind Hope.

... Gosh (and he's going to blame Ven for that word if he realizes he's thinking it), this man is even bigger in person.

[Steve is just observing his surroundings, his Lucario by his side doing the same and his Eevee happily trying to sing from where she's draped over his shoulder, but mostly she's just making high pitched pleased noises with some melody. He looks over at the mention of his name and is pleasantly surprised to see Hope, it had somehow escaped his notice that the man would be in Olivine. He smiles as he makes his way to meet him]

Hope, it's a pleasure to meet you in person.

[His Lucario follows, observing the two large Pokemon with devoted attention, ultimately trying to size them up. His Eevee keeps "singing" unaware, at the moment, of new Pokemon or people]

Imogen did the first thing she does in any city. She changed clothes. From the slightly more practical (curve grading) travel clothes, to her slightly more ostentatious garb (again, curve grading). She also got a bunch of her lower level Pokemon she hadn't seen in a while.

So she had Parkay (Butterfree) on her shoulder, and Whiskey (Rattata) on her head. They were all pretty safe as she had Omen (Absol) at her side, and he was as alert and no fun as ever. He also gave Imogen's high heeled boots another disapproving glare as they headed out of the Pokecenter to explore the city. "Remember, we need to find out about Jasmine's gym to decide how we'll handle the battle. I say we give it a day or two and then we'll take her down."

This was, of course, for her Absol. Whiskey and Parkay were not leveled nor in the right mindset for such a battle.

Tony comes up behind her, glancing at what she's wearing, her Pokémon then smirks. Pep is by his side, now a Lopunny she's too big for his shoulder, though still wearing her red and gold bow still beaming as always.

"You're not going to use the garden delights here, against her I hope."

Unlike her, Tony hadn't changed his clothes. No one here needed impressing so he was just going to stick with being comfortable.

"Parkay is a bit too young, and she's not really trained for it." Imogen answered without any hesitation. Spinning and walking backward a few steps to look at Tony while she spoke, "They just needed some time out, and I haven't done enough research to take on Jasmine. I was preparing for fighting Morty."

She spun back around and mused over it a few moments. It was so annoying, not to be on the right path to hit the right Gym. But, she was here... so it was this or fly off to fight Morty and be back in time for the bit of travel. But that totally defeats the purpose of traveling someplace that has beds and a house to stay in. She considered a moment, "Fire, Ground, and Fighting are my best choices... but of those I only have Fire types, and I need to take dual typing into account."

[He'd spent the days leading up to this getting ready. He'd bought extra beds and bedding, and tons of food- though, mostly because Jaws kept sneaking it on him. Hopefully his directions had been good enough for them, he wasn't quite the best at giving them yet.]

[Tony stands outside the house, waiting for the others to catch up. He's built a reputation on being fashionably late, and while no one knows that reputation here, he's not about to start being the first to someones house.]

[Steve walks up to the house to see Tony just hanging out and is honestly surprised to see the man here before him, a pleasant surprise, but still he had expected to be here first]

Knocking is the best way to get inside, you know.

[Chuckles as he goes up to the door and knocks]

Getting here had been a trip and a half and he was so late to getting where he needed to be that it wasn't even funny but... he had been stuck int he same house most of his last stay and that lent itself to him roaming around a bit before trying to track down his actual destination. You know, to see if he missed anything last time.

Glancing over Tony see's Obitio. But to be fair, he only saw him in a small viewer and that was a while ago so he's forgotten who he is for now.

"Looks like you need a shower and a good bed, huh, kid?"

"What kind of greeting is that?" He turned in place, gaze flicking over the guy. Ahhhh, he remembered him! Weird morals guy. "Tony, you're supposed to start with 'hi'."

[Thor took to the city with a great deal of enthusiasm, spending time at the docks watching the ships and wandering around. He's well-used to the sounds of water and seabirds, and he finds it soothing as he wanders around and tries to figure out what he needs to do next. Despite enjoying the break from action, it's been long enough that it's starting to grate on him, especially now that they're slated to stay in the same city for a time. Once he runs out of places to explore, he'll probably get a little stir crazy.

For now, he's sitting at a table at a coffeeshop, Sif the Shinx dozing near his feet and Little Friend poking his nose into Thor's coffee cup.

Caffeine for the Pichu, yeah, that's a great idea.]

*Secret to Imogen's boundless energy: attitude... helped with coffee every now and then. Look, determination gets you pretty far, and caffeination gets you the rest of the way. She sits down with her latte, Talent the Espeon, and her sketchpad.*

Not sure letting him drink that is a good idea.

*And yet Imogen isn't moving the electric rat away from the coffee, and is instead just sketching this scene. She's also smiling, so it might not be as dire as she says... or it could be as dire as she says.*

[The city is beautiful, Steve would prefer some more city sounds to accompany the water, but he'll go with what he can get. Tonight he starts his job, but before he does, he wants to explore with Grace, his Lucario, and Amber, his Eevee, tagging along, but for once, Amber is actually trotting along side him rather than hitching a ride.

He decides that a snack sounds like an A+ plan, so he heads into a nearby coffeeshop. With snack and water in hand, he looks for a place to sit, spotting Thor and wandering that way]

Steve is sitting on the beach, his Lapras swimming around with his Eevee on her back. His Lucario stays by his site, more nervous of water since evolving, but she's cuddled up by him. It's about mid day, he's recently woke up and is just enjoying the sun before resigning to another nap before work. Working at the lighthouse at night is hard with switching his schedule, but it's by far more interesting than some normal job at the Pokecenter.

[Danny is out on the water, surfing on Kahuna the Blastoise. He's all ready starting to get a nice tan, and is trying to look cool for the ladies/Steve.]

[Steve sees Danny doing his thing and waves if Danny looks his direction. He's not got Surf yet, so he's landlocked, but his Lapras, Undine, does dare to swim a bit closer to Danny and his Blastoise, the Eevee happily riding along]
