Who: Hope Estheim (eagletalons), Steve Rogers (starspangledavenger) and Carol Danvers (tookthename).
Where: Violet, and then wherever they will be on the 4th.
When: June 28th, and July 4. Two days in one log!
Summary: A science man and an Avenger had a meet scheduled for July-- cue science man traveling to get there on time. But apparently Avenger is a lot closer than he thought.
Rating: GP I suppose? To be edited when necessary.

Splitting this thing into two master threads for the two days so we wont spam the comm with our characters and any dorkiness/angst that may occur in the future!

[Steve can't help the small laugh.] It's usually some kind of entertainment tour that goes around raising money for the war effort and sometimes overseas to the troops to give them support and cheer. It's not a bad thing, but I wanted to be a soldier, I finally had the body and health and was more than the average man, but I was an experiment.

I was part of a song and dance tour, I became Captain America and even wore a little get up. [He hesitates for a second before getting out a card of Coulson's, the one of him saluting, holding it out for Hope to look at with a quick disclaimer of "ignore the blood stains"]

Trading card from those days. For a whole year I went around with a bunch of girls, they'd sing and dance, I'd say my lines, punch a fake Hitler, and do something strong. Went overseas for the troops, they hated me. Found out I was in Peggy and Bucky's camp, but him and hundreds of other guys got trapped behind enemy lines. They gave up on saving them, it was too dangerous, but me being me, I decided to go save them by myself, I couldn't leave Bucky to rot. Peggy, she helped me, her and Howard.

Oh. Uh- [huh how to explain that] Howard Stark was Tony's dad, my science friend here with me, the inventor, it was his dad. He helped Erskine build the machine that made me into what I am, because of that Tony thinks he has some kind of claim on me. [Steve sounds a mixed of frustrated and amused by that] Anyway, Howard and I, we became good friends, he was about my age then. But he was a damn good pilot, Peggy convinced him to fly me over enemy lines and I'd parachute in.

[Hope snorts a little in amusement upon hearing that Steve had actually been an entertainer of sorts in his world, and puts a hand over his mouth to cover his smile when he takes the little card, Steve's amusing costume and all.

But he does take note of the bloodstains. He doesn't know whose they are, or how it had gotten bloodied, but it's a shame, he thinks, that a card like this would have been marked like this.

Though Hope raises an eyebrow at the last bit-- a "claim" on him, really? Who even thinks like that? But he sets that critical though aside for now-- story. Story.]

And so you did enter? [Not like he knows what parachutes are. After all, soldiers in his world jumped straight down with Grav Con units.]
