Summary: Sasuke gets a birthday party whether he wants one or not. Lucky for him, he has friends (in spite of his best efforts) who'll plan one.
Rating: G? PG for violence

[ooc; general mingle log for Blackthorn City/Sasuke's birthday. Most of it will probably take place at the hotsprings itself, though like the 'who' says, it's completely open to anyone just walking by and wondering what the big deal is, or someone who's already there and then has their pleasant soak interrupted by a bunch of dumb ninjas.]

[ While the sight may be unwelcoming in the eyes of others, Sakura herself feels a tremendous burden lifted from her shoulders. Seeing their great leader enjoy herself without the guilt of the war meant that maybe she can do the same.

Drawing inspiration from that, she approaches her while she's rolling around on the floor in a fit of laughter. ]

Um, Lady Tsunade? [ It was time for Sakura's courage to shine through as she grabs at a bottle and pulls it out of her reach. ] You've had too much to drink and, um, you'll grow dehydrated at this rate. You can have some more after you've had four glasses of water.

[ Goodbye Sakura, we knew you well. ]

[ She's rolling around in a fit of laughter, and no hips were broken!

Tsunade's commands and Sakura's attempts to take care of are met with a fake smile and a whine. ]

But Sakraaaa-chaaaan! [ Yes, the chan is there just to emphasize how whiny she's being right now. ] This is the first time I've drinked in weeks. [ A very blatant lie. ] Just let me celebrate tonight!! Besides, if I really need water, Tentacool has me covered! [ Tsunade claps twice and Tentacool holds up his tentacle and sprays water in her mouth. #Yep. ]

[ That's so... ]

Lady Tsunade, do you know where that water's been?!

[ After that outcry, she'll give the poor Tentacool an apologetic look. Sorry buddy! ]

You could get sick or... [ Even drunker, let's be real as she eyes the Pokemon warily. ] Say, what do you feed your Pokemon...

I doubt it's anything that's harmful to drink. It's just water, you know?

[ Tentacool gives Sakura some Heavy Side-eye. ]

I feed them... well, it depends on the pokémon. I let this one into a location ocean and feed him plankton, or I just get him shrimp. Why?

[ Right back atcha, Tentacool. ]

Right, so what if some of that water contains traces of plankton or shrimp?

Then I guess I get dinner. [ She doesn't really mind. ] I've had to drink worse as a kunoichi, you know. [ Anko would be so proud. ]

That's so gross! [ Leave it to her to overreact. ]

You could get sick or some kind of disease!

Relax! Tentacool is mostly water anyways. If it was taking in something that wasn't for her, I'd be able to notice a decrease in health. Besides, I think she eats mostly plankton anyways. She's also a poison type, which means I can hope she recognizes toxins... [ WHATEVER. BLIND LUCK ANYWAYS EVEN THOUGH SHE SUCKS. ]

[ There's so much that's wrong with this conversation, but she treads through dangerous waters now. Calling out Tsunade for having poor health is one thing she's not sure she wants to do. ]

You hope? You're relying on your Pokemon to take care of you in that sense?

I don't know for certain but I know it's pretty likely, hence the hope that it turns out in my favor. [ but think about her luck tho.... ]

Of course. We're teammates after all. There's no difference in relying on these guys than relying on your men back home. Except, you know, these guys aren't sentient. [ that makes them better in tsunade's opinion! ]

They also eat plankton and shoot water in your face! I bet right now your immune system isn't up to snuff and who knows what will happen to you if I'm not hard on you!

[ Tsunade may as well just retire because she's got a permanent nurse aid. ]

There's nothing wrong with plankton. They're so small, even our cells have the potential to rival it in size. Any damage they can do to the body would have to result in me drinking a lake's worth of water.

My immune system is just fine, Sakura! [ She nods. ] Blackthorn has made me a cleaner, healthier woman and I don't need you being hard on me! That's my job! Along with being hard on everyone else!

[ Waggling a finger as she goes all Ace Attorney prosecution on Tsunadesamasenpaisan. ]

Yeah? I know how much you drink on average so who's to say you haven't already drank an entire lake's worth of water from this Pokemon? That and who knows how the plankton is digested in it's body! There could be some weird acid inside of it or ink that's deadly to human beings.

Then there you go. Soaking it up. You need to take better care of yourself in your age, Tsunade-sama.

Well, Sakura, if I have consumed a lake's worth, I think that means I'm keeping myself hydrated. [ She's rolling her eyes. she's drunk so much water from Tentacool that anything bad would show up b- ]

[ The only A word Tsunade is familiar with is Ass-kicking, which Sakura seems to be very keen on getting closer with. ]

[ She can still out run her, right? This may be the moment she finds out if that's true or not. ]

Glad we came to an understanding! Now, come down here and let me tell you another story about the great Shikkoku Forest! Shizune hates this story and never wishes for me to tell it but now I finally have the chance.... Hehe.... [ AKA GOSSIP TIME GIRL... ]

So, Shizune and I, during our travels, would occasionally visit Shikkotsu Forest, where the slugs are from. Now, the first time we traveled there Shizune had no damn idea what to expect. At first, because of my lack of activity with the slugs, they were hiding. They couldn't really recognize my scent. I tried looking for them, only to discover that they were slowly crawling on Shizune.

When I pointed this out to Shizune, [ Tsunade breaks into a fit of outrageous laughter. ] you shoulda heard the screams from her! They were so loud and ringing. YEAAAAAGH! YEAAAAAGH! HELP ME TSUNADE-SAMA! [ Tsunade's voice is almost in shrieks to try to get her "Shizune" voice down. ]
