Summary: It's Ishimaru's birthday and his classmates are throwing him a surprise party. This can't end badly.

Never again. Mondo is never planning a party this big ever again. Of course the original plan didn't take into account the arrival of five classmates, so originally this would have been easy enough to handle. Now, though? He'd practically run himself ragged making sure that everyone was here and everything was ready.
The hotel was kind enough to lend them the Conference Room for the occasion, and it was quite a large room that should easily fit all of the Hope's Peak classmates and Alice. All the food is spread out on a table by the wall (it's entirely vegetarian, since that's what Ishimaru likes) and the tables are situated nearby so that the guests can actually sit and eat. There's plenty of open space in case anyone wants to dance to the music that's been set up (though Mondo doubts Ishimaru will set foot on the dance floor, it's mostly to entertain the other guests). The gifts are all piled in the back corner and there's even a large TV for the guests to watch. All in all, it seems like the perfect place to hold a party.
All that's left is for Fujisaki to bring Ishimaru to the location, so Mondo fires off a quick text to his friend, letting Fujisaki know that everyone's ready and in position. This is gonna be awesome.

He definitely takes after you in the loud department, that's for sure. Did you know he actually talks too though? He would randomly yell pep talks at me and Kuwata-chi. It was like having you right there with us, dude!
It was kinda terrifying when he first did it while we were just sitting around, but we got used to it.

[Fine though it may be, it's more than slightly awkward having others actually in his room; he's gotten used to Naegi coming and going by now and Oowada is kind of a given (seeing as they, y'know, share the room and all for the sake of keeping costs down), but other people are still a little surreal.
At least it's presentable, though (as though Ishimaru would let it be anything else), even if he doesn't really seem too sure of where to...go, once they're in there. Depends on what Hagakure plans on doing, he supposes; until then, standing around awkwardly near the door is go.]
I'm not too sure how things like this work - are you going to need anything, or...?

Dang Ishimaru-chi, you really keep this place spotless!
[You're lucky you weren't there to see the disaster that was his dorm room, Ishimaru...
He turns to face Ishimaru and produces a few small incense sticks and a match from his jacket pocket.]

[As Ishimaru dims the lights, Hagakure finds a spacious area of the room to sit down and light the incenses. When they begin to burn, a sweet scent spreads throughout the room. A bit of hazy smoke comes with it, but it's not nearly enough to set off any alarms.
Hagakure takes a deep breath to take it all in, then exhales with a satisfied sigh. He then motions for Ishimaru to sit across for him.]

[He's way too happy about this for some reason. That last comment was a little un-Hagakure-like too, but he just keeps rolling like it was nothing.]
It's not really that hard, but it's been tougher in this world for some reason. It's like my senses are kinda hazy here. [He frowns, clearly troubled by it. But then he quickly breaks into a determined expression.] But I promise I'll get an accurate reading this time! This is your birthday present, after all!

At the very least, he is perfectly able to tell that he's being played with - he can't read tells worth a damn half the time but that was pretty blatant - and so he's not taking it seriously; however, taken seriously or not, that is probably the fastest way to fluster him oh my god just let him kind of make furby noises for a moment there until he recovers - ]

But eventually he gets something, because he opens his eyes and directs a grin in Ishimaru's direction.]
Ohhh man, this is pretty sweet, dude! My vision's tellin' me you're gonna be a really awesome gym leader someday! You like authority, right Ishimaru-chi? Well they got plenty of that since they're really strong trainers. They're pretty influential too if I remember right. I think that'd be the life for you!
