NIGHTMARE PLOT: BATTLE LOG
Who: Nightmare Plot participants!
Where: THE BASEMENT (dun dun dunnnnn)
When: Wednesday, October 30
Summary: IT'S NOT CHERNOBOG. But you still have to fight it.
Rating: PG-13 in general; please mark threads that go higher accordingly!
Log:

YOU ARE HERE. IT LOOKS LIKE THIS. YOU'RE FIGHTING THIS. (IT'S NOT CHERNOBOG.)
ALSO, MOOD MUSIC.
KEY:
• RED areas are inaccessible regions! This time, characters have a little less discretion in what they perceive as the reason for the inaccessibility; it'll either be something like a broken or crumbling wall, a locked door, an archway overgrown with dangerous-looking vines, thick fog, or something else of that nature!
• The GREEN area is the set of stairs you used to get down here in the first place! Again, this is here so you know where your starting point is in relation to everything else.
~
☆ THE NUMBER TO MEET OR BEAT IS 55 PARTICIPANTS ☆.
REMEMBER: IF YOUR CHARACTER DOES NOT POST TO THE BOSSFIGHT LOG AT LEAST ONCE
(AS A TOP-LEVEL COMMENT OR IN RESPONSE TO SOMEONE ELSE'S TOP-LEVEL COMMENT)
BEFORE 7:00 AM EST on OCTOBER 31, THEY WILL NOT COUNT TOWARD THE 55-PARTICIPANT GOAL!

This? Just a poor man's version of my mobile suit. Not that I should complain, though, it's been too-
[His words are interrupted by a sudden surge of something. Anger? This is not the anger he felt after his father declared his intention to kill prisoners of war, or after Zeheart sacrificed part of his own fleet to kill him. Those had been too tainted with disappointment, with worry. No, this is closer to the moment he saw Commander Woolf die in front of him. He thinks. He barely remembers what he felt at the time, after so-]
-long. Those bastards are going to die.
[And die they do, first electrocuted by the anchors that spring out from beneath the armor's binders, and then pierced in the throat by the DODS Lancer. Three monsters in twenty seconds; he's rarely been this efficient.]
no subject
[There's impossible shit happening everywhere he looks. A part of him still fights it but that part isn't going to get anything done right now, so he doesn't need it.]
[Blake smiles savagely.] That's what I wanna hear.
[He's just gonna appreciate the show. He laughs triumphantly.] Buddy, whatever you just did, do it more!
no subject
[Even as he aims for a monster's jaw with the Lancer, his left hand grabs one of his beam sabers and aims for its legs. Another down. Five more approach, angry or hungry or simply out for blood.]
Cover your eyes!
[That's all the warning Blake gets before Ash activates the suit's flash eye.]
no subject
[Blake throws his arm over his eyes and light sears right through]
The fuck was that?!
no subject
[He turns around once he's done with his opponents, tapping the wrench symbol on his chest.]
no subject
Did it kill em?
no subject
[The one in his hand glows in all its pink glory.]
no subject
[Blake stares at the glowing pink sword.]
Sure. You're a fuckin' Star Trek thing too! Why not!
no subject
[But he must now interrupt this fascinating anecdote to cut a monster in two with the non-shoulder saber. What a shame.]
no subject
How the hell do you use swords on your shoulders? What's even the point of a sword when there's guns-
[Jesus. That thing was sliced right in half. Blake cuts off to stare.]
...Oh.
[That.]
no subject
Ranged weapons have the distinct disadvantage of greatly draining your battery pack if you want to do any damage. Recharging is not always an option.
[And the shoulder sabers could be oriented, so there.]
no subject
[A little one screeches and charges at Blake. He grabs it and uses the momentum to spin around like a discus thrower and wing it at the mass of darkness in the middle of the room.]
[He shouts to Ash.]
How bout you go shove one up the big mama's ass?
no subject
[Why, he can even raise his chances by dropping the lance and taking out a second saber before charging at it. Twice the saber, twice the power, right?]
no subject
[Feels like he's done something right.]
no subject
...Then again, he's dodging them surprisingly well. Almost as if he gets great bursts of speed for a few seconds each time.]
no subject
Come on, come on!
no subject
-and brace himself as much as he can, because something- a hand? Or maybe some sort of forcefield? He has no idea, he didn't see anything- just send him flying back towards one of the walls.]
no subject
[That's not supposed to happen. Glowing robots are not supposed to go flying past him. Blake jumps back before he's smashed into paste.]
Get up, dammit!
[Nothing for it but to cover him until he does.]
no subject
[He does so somewhat shakily, but that's to be expected. He looks more than a little dizzy.]
I don't know what that was, but it's definitely cheating. Maybe I should've aimed for the eyes instead.
