[Yeah, well, considering how casual the greeting was, Daiya's glad she's not spooked.

The Steelix glances the Porygon over, a distant grinding echoing as it flicks the last two joints of its tail.]

Are they? Man, the animals around here have got all kinds of crazy names, I'm not gonna keep 'em straight.

I'm Oowada.

[Porygon makes a panicked noise and trembles. Nanami lays a hand on it, trying to reassure the blocky bird.

Oowada. The name strikes a cord somewhere in her mind. There had been an Oowada listed among the students in the files from Komaeda's cottage. This man doesn't look like the Oowada in the photos though. His older brother maybe?

She smiles.]

Nanami Chiaki. It's nice to meet you, Oowada-san.

Nanami stares at him, going through her dialogue options thoughts to decide what she wants to say. There's a bit of natural wariness and a few STRANGER DANGER warnings but the surrounding areas seem pretty well populated from what she'd explored. Plus she has Porygon and, well...]

...I've never been on a real motorcycle before. [She slips her gear into her backpack and scoops up her starter before climbing to her feet and approaching Steelix with a mixture of caution and curiosity.]

[Daiya raps his knuckles lightly against one of the ridges on Steelix's head, guiding it to lower its head even closer to the ground. He holds out his hand to Nanami with a charming grin.]

That so? You don't know what you're missing, then. I'll have to see what I can do about fixing that.
