[ Beware, world of pokémon, for you are about to be taken by storm by the one and only dark lord of the underworld, phoenix king risen once more from the ashes, ruler of the seven hells, etc etc etc. Or you would be if he wasn't currently too busy caring for a small pack of six baby pokémon in the route south of Goldenrod.

Around him, a Smoochum, an Elekid, a Magby, a Clefa, an Igglybuff and a Tyrogue eat excitedly from bowls under his watch, his arms crossed as he observes. Thinking himself alone, a tiny smirk adorns his expression, pleased with the upbringing of the ~~adorable pokémon~~ soon to be destructive, ravaging beasts. ]

[ ...How cute. While none of those are first-generation pokémon, it's easy to guess what some of them might evolve into. Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar, Clefairy, Jigglypuff...the last one isn't obvious, but probably a fighting type, right?

Nanami doesn't really announce herself, although she wasn't exactly sneaking, either. With her is only a Munna, though she has pokeballs clipped to her belt. ]

...Tanaka-kun, are you taking the breeder's path? I see.

...It seems it's a little hard here, without being able to see IVs or other things. That's admirable.

[ Apparently Nanami is skipping trivial things like "hello". ]

[ Don't worry Nanami, Gundam himself isn't prone to formal introductions, or even basic good mannerisms. Which, in fact, is show cased when he is alerted to her presence. ]

[ She politely stops a little ways away, not seeing any reason not to do so. Nanami's pretty obliging on the whole. ]

You say that, but there are six of them, aren't there? So were four named for the Dark Gods, or do they all have different names?

This is Estelle. [ She gestures to the Munna. It might be named for a video game character. In fact, that's likely. ]

[ ... he hasn't considered that. DIVERSION REQUESTED DIVERSION REQUESTED ATTACK AT SIX O'CLOCK. ]

It is foolish to impose naming on such majestic creatures. One must wait for the third full moon of the year and partake in a ritual to award them with fitting names.

[ Phew, dodged that one. Though when he shifts his eyes to the Munna, they look back at Nanami, then back at Munna. It's uncanny how alike they are. ]

It is, however, relieving that you have stumbled across a fitting partner. The mishandling of these creatures can only result in immense destruction, enough to reach the knees of my endless destructive power itself.

[ ..........Well, that sounds legit. Sometimes Tanaka makes life sound like a mishmash of video game tropes and events Nanami's familiar with. ]

So they don't get names until then...if that's so, are they allowed to have nicknames...? Otherwise, it might be sad for them. ...I think.

[ The Munna floats sleepily nearby, not paying much attention to Tanaka or his six baby pokemon at all. ]

Ah, I'm glad for her, too. Though I've played this game before...it's rather different right now. There are brand new locations, you know. I wonder what sort of gym leaders are in those places...

Hope you don't mind if...it starts getting little tugs on it. And then bigger tugs accompanied with weird otherworldly-sounding giggles.

Eventually, a strange purple ghost-like thing pops into view and calls out miiiismagius! before it disappears again and resumes the invisible tugs. A moment after this, a girl comes into view, looking around.]

What do you mean there's a purple man over here--? [She stops when she notices Gundam, blanching.] --Sumire! Stop that! [She's answered with more creepy giggles, but the ghost reappears at her side nonetheless, looking very pleased with itself.] I am so sorry about her, she didn't bite you, did she?

[ Good manners are nice, sure, but to Gundam they mean close to nothing. Though this is to be expected from someone who uses "Ore-Sama" on a regular basis. Turning slightly to face Botan, one would expect him to be angry, but all he does is chuckle slightly. ]

Luckily for her, she did not.

[ He casts a quick glance at Botan, but his attention is soon much more focused on the Mismagius. That's one species he hasn't seen yet, and ghost types were particularly to his liking, so he takes a moment to inspect it from afar. ]

Had she bitten me, I fear for the fate that would have befallen her, fufufufu.

...Eh?

[Botan seems more perplexed by this than impressed or intimidated. She looks at Sumire, who glances back and only offers a questioning miiis?]

I think he was saying that if you bit him, he would have done something nasty to you. Not sure how, given that you're a ghost. [She shrugs, and Sumire gives the equivalent of a shrug one can have when they don't have shoulders or arms. Unlike Gundam, though, Botan knows that it's rude to just go off talking to someone else in the middle of conversation (even if that someone is her Pokemon).]

Anyway, I haven't seen you around here before, are you new?

I suppose.

[ He's not new to the world though he's played Pokemon ever since he was tiny. ]

For in a way, the mighty deity that is Tanaka Gundam holds unparalleled knowledge of worlds the most feeble of mortals would cower simply upon imagining them!

[ That made no sense, but he's rolling with it. ]

And of course, the land should be humbled to have the greatness that is me walking upon its earth, so that its inhabitants may be inspired by my magnanimous presence!

You're right, I thought so too when I first got here, but a--[friend, boogeyman, acquaintance??]--associate of mine brought up the point that with death comes renewal, making way for new life. So being able to actively bring new life to this world has become my privilege. [Sometimes she really doesn't like being a reaper anyway, so.]
