[He laughs, though the sound is awkward. Mondo reaches up to mess with the loose strands of hair on his neck. He can't seem to keep his eyes on his brother.]

[The outburst is sudden and loud, though at least he doesn't seem to mind that. Everyone else in the house, however...]

[It takes him a moment, but Mondo brightens up considerably after that's out there.]

That's great! I was hoping you'd like it! I mean, I wasn't really sure what to get you that'd be important, y'know? Sure I could've gotten you a Pokémon or something, but I wanted to get you something meaningful. Not to say Pokémon aren't meaningful but... fuck, you know what I mean, right?

[Because...well, because of course he does. And because he's also kind of a tremendous child sometimes, he will just proceed to set down the box and the paper he's...accumulated before taking the jacket out and looking it over. It's a bit large, yeah, but hey, that just means he can put it on now - excuse him while he just...flicks that on over his clothes.

One would think he'll overheat at this rate, but apparently he's pretty heat-tolerant. To say nothing of the fact that he wears that school uniform and those combat boots in the middle of the summer...]

[Mondo pulls back a bit to get a look at his brother, still smiling. Ishimaru does look good in black...]

[Seeing Ishimaru so happy really relaxes him about this. Mondo grins widely and reaches out to throw an arm around Ishimaru's shoulders.]

She's pretty much a member of our little family by now, so I might as well start calling her that!
