[Coming closer she smiles at him. Yep it's her, there on a route with a very strange dog at her side.

And he needs to stop running his hands through his hair. Closing the distance entirely, she catches his hands.]

[She gives his hands a light squeeze and steps back a thoughtful look on her face. It couldn't hurt if she tried to morph herself. Not that she didn't believe him but well experience. She concentrated on turning into a grizzly bear and as she was told nothing happened.

Thanks, but...I think I should be able to handle it.

[Even as Tobias speaks he's concentrating, trying to get his mind on the hawk to get the morph started. Nothing appears to be happening, but maybe that's because the initial panic has yet to wear off..]

[Tobias stiffens a bit out of reflex at the contact, taking a deep breath to steady himself. Only now does he spot the Houndour following Rachel close by, but for the moment he ignores it. Must be like the Starly that won't stop following him around.

He takes a moment to try and calm down, focusing on the feeling of Rachel holding her hands in his. Breathe, Tobias, she's right.]

...You...you can't do it either, right? ..Morph?

[She has to ask. After all, her dear partner is good at claiming that he's fine when he's not, and that's not a thing that's unique to him.]

[He mutters, turning to the side slightly so he can glance up at the sky. The Starly still perched on his shoulder follows his gaze and tilts her head, confused. At least if Rachel can't morph that doesn't necessarily mean he's stuck in morph. He just physically can't morph back. As far as he knows, time isn't passing like normal here either.

And he has a few ideas as to why.]

The Ellimist, maybe. Don't know where he zapped the others though, if it's him.

[Tobias grinds the words out bitterly, pulling his hands from Rachel's so he can tighten them into fists. Of course he'd pull something like this. He's done it before, plenty. It would be even more of an explanation as to why he's suddenly human again.]

She gives Tsumiki a quick lookover as though to ascertain her current state of health before nodding lightly to herself. Not terrible! Tsumiki looks like Tsumiki still, though whether or not that's completely reassuring is still...]

It was perfect. Apparently too perfect, as Meelo giggled quietly and evilly to himself as he positioned himself perfectly on the branch for his surprise aerial assault. If Korra was paying close enough attention, it would have been audible, to some extent.

...Wow, she's almost as boring as Mako. Meelo retains his "heroic" bravado for another moment until he realizes that Veronica isn't going to play along. He heaves an exaggerated sigh, and points over to Murkrow where it's currently perched.

Easily distracted, Meelo float-jumps toward the higher branches in an attempt to join the Swablu.

It turns out that all worlds can wait years for their residents to return, if they are not aware that those residents have left in the first place.

[Luckily, a particular gardener had just managed to settle down in Goldenrod City in want of employment at the Breeding Centre. She hadn't actually started working there yet nor had she even asked, deciding to take some time to muster up the courage to go and confront the manager. In any case, she had taken the time to stroll around the city, perhaps in search of a home to reside in the event that she didn't stay in the housing provided by the Centre. She's quite startled when another person approaches her, giving a small squeak in surprise before managing to calm herself.]

Y-You're in Goldenrod City, the Johto region. ...Are you, ah, new here?

[She remembers that when she first arrived here, someone mentioned that it was common for disoriented newcomers to arrive as well. Thankfully, with the few months of experience she's earned, she can become much more helpful than she once was.]

[Searching was the key word in all this. Veronica had combed the city, apparently called "Goldenrod", and found little of what she was looking for, including a way out of here. Even the maps in the centers didn't make sense to her, although they did give the barest outline of a region in Japan she knew of.

Thankfully, this showed that when Veronica actually mustered the strength to be social, she got some answers. Of course, she still looks terribly confused, an obvious sign that she's new here.]

Johto region...? That's not a region in Japan, but the maps looked like the Kansai region.

[The confusing journey of Veronica Madaraki continued it would seem. Murkow, who was perched on the bodyguard's shoulder, watched both his trainer and the new gardener with interest.]

Um, yes, I'm new here. I've never been here before.

[She stares for a long moment, as if unable to process what he's said. The engine of this thing...stalled out. While it was in mid-flight....somehow? She not at all surprised. Somehow she just sighs.]

...I would. [She leans back a bit, blowing her fringe from her eyes.] Still no excuse for not warning people on the way down.

[As much as a warning sign that scream was, it still didn't do enough.]
