Summary: Kato is still excited over receiving a giant carnivorous exploding metal snowflake from Dist, and he wants to know more about his upcoming plans.
Rating: PG at the most, unless something blows up (always possible, with these two).

[It was quite common these days to see Kato lounging about in the labs, admiring his Cryogonal. It was really quite fascinating, what Dist had managed to do to it; the species was frightening enough with just it's icy skin, but with the metal...it was like something out of a nightmare.
Naturally, Kato adored it.
So today, like any other day, he was seated at his desk, running a hand along Cryogonal's side, delighting in how cold the metal was, even through his gloves. It had so much potential for destruction; he run numerous tests on the effects the Metal Coat had on the technique 'Explosion', and all of them had thrilled him. Truth be told, he was almost in awe of his partner...a rare, strange feeling for him, to be so impressed by another scientist and yet, feel no jealousy, only pride...it was an odd sensation, but a pleasant one.
Leaning back, Kato looked over to where his partner was, smirking.]
I need to do something with it, Dist. What do you think? Maybe attack a building...somewhere busy....what do you think?

I'm honestly surprised you haven't done anything of the sort with it yet. Then again, it's on the unfortunately fragile side...
[He had recalled discovering the metallic Pokemon's major weakness through the testing provided by some Grunts in late May. The Cryogonal wouldn't last through very many Explosions.]
I say you cook up something especially destructive. Something that lets it go out with a magnificent bang.
[A smirk spread across his face as he said it, because he thought of something fun.]
You could turn it into something of a ticking time bomb. Place it somewhere populated and extremely conspicuous, then threaten to detonate it if the passerby can't do anything. They won't know how to deal with it because it's nothing like a typical Cryogonal. And if they try fire, well...you could just help fuel the flames if you understand my meaning.

How utterly diabolical of you, Dist. Yes, wouldn't that be fun? I've always enjoyed that sort of game, after all.
[You know, all we need now are matching wine glasses and a fluffy white cat or two, and we would totally be perfectly evil villains. At least we can always cackle.]
I'm not really interested in the Lighthouse, because I've already done that one...even if it would be amusing to destroy it all over again...
[Rocking back and looking up at the ceiling, Kato taps a pencil against his lips as he thinks.]
And 'Seth' has already laid claim to the Department Store and the Kimono Girl's Dance Hall...hmm, where to go, where to go....

He leans forward in his chair, eyes full of interest at Kato's suggestion. It's original, that's for sure.]
Oh, now that is an idea. If the Cryogonal explodes, which I have no doubt it will, it may even create a hole in the ship. The passengers would certainly be in a dire situation if that were to happen.
It would quite a spectacle.
[It really says something about Dist with how much he's gotten into these random acts of terror on the citizens of Johto and Kanto. Being in Team Rocket has done things to him.

Well, I recently submitted my research on the Metal Coat project to the higher-ups so I'm currently waiting to hear what they think of it. Depending on their answer I might expand to other evolutionary items to try out.
I'd still like to try building a robot sometime as well. I think that may be my next new project.
[If Caroline could pull off making turrets in Pokeworld, he is going to make a goddamn Kaiser Dist.]

Ideally, we'll be in complete control of these labs. So it's not so much that I've been thinking about my personal promotions, but how we can obtain that power the fastest, and since you're a few ranks above me, it seems more appropriate to throw my support behind you.

I am merely stating the truth! You really do deserve it.
But I do understand your reasoning. Out of the two of us, I am the closest to achieving our goal. And no matter who has the higher rank, the other will still be set.
[He's just really surprised Kato's willing to do it this way. He knows Kato, and he knows he'd like to be in a higher rank than just a Technician. They've talked about it numerous times in the past, about how frustrating it is to be stuck in one position. But now they might actually be getting somewhere.
Kato's putting a lot of faith in Dist if he's not worrying as much about his own status.
Moving his chair just a little bit closer, he gently places a hand on Kato's knee.]

Dist continues that stroking motion since Kato seems to like it. He likes it too. He imagines Kato's skin and hair to be silky smooth to the touch, if he wasn't wearing his gloves right now.
...Okay yeah, they'll have to go do some evil science after this to make up for it.]
