[She takes the other, still not entirely convinced of its ability to keep her afloat but willing to try.]

He therefore rushes at the ocean at a full sprint, floaty noodle thing under his arm and dives for the water as soon as he's reached a point where it's safe enough to do so and disappears under the water.
Thankfully, he reappears a moment later, one arm wrapped around the noodle, which apparently holds both his weight and does, in fact, float.]

[But she follows, more trotting than running, and only winces when the first large wave brings the water up to her thighs rather than retreating. When the water's at her waist, she pushes off with her feet and clings to the silly foam tube.]

[Attempting to find a position that was both comfortable and supportive and didn't involve her top half significantly higher than her lower was proving remarkably difficult. She found herself grappling with the tube and clinging to it with arms and legs, head desperately above water and hair a thick, heavy sheet over her face.]

[Lust does as he suggests, though, trying to relax and not cling so desperately to the floating tube. She doesn't like the idea of being so much in the water, but Greed's method of using the float does seem to be yielding more results.]

It's probably a good thing that he decided not to fight the flotation device and instead lean against it, looking lazy more than anything else.]
Water's cold but it's not that bad. Might be more fun if we could swim, though.
