[Lust nods in agreement as she joins Greed at the pile of toys. She's skeptical of the foam cylinders, but they're light and porous.]

Sea water has more buoyancy than inland water anyway.

[She takes the other, still not entirely convinced of its ability to keep her afloat but willing to try.]

[He's still somewhat nervous himself, because he can't swim, but when has 'you can't do this' ever stopped Greed?

He therefore rushes at the ocean at a full sprint, floaty noodle thing under his arm and dives for the water as soon as he's reached a point where it's safe enough to do so and disappears under the water.

Thankfully, he reappears a moment later, one arm wrapped around the noodle, which apparently holds both his weight and does, in fact, float.]

See? It's fine!

[She has to laugh as he charges madcap into the waves, standing and watching him from the beach.]

You're mad!

[But she follows, more trotting than running, and only winces when the first large wave brings the water up to her thighs rather than retreating. When the water's at her waist, she pushes off with her feet and clings to the silly foam tube.]

[The water is cold and he has no idea how to tread water, so he's hanging onto the foam thing for dear life, but Greed honestly don't look too bothered.]

It's not bad, huh? It'd be more fun if I knew how to swim, but I can't really complain.

My center of gravity isn't helping this at all!

[Attempting to find a position that was both comfortable and supportive and didn't involve her top half significantly higher than her lower was proving remarkably difficult. She found herself grappling with the tube and clinging to it with arms and legs, head desperately above water and hair a thick, heavy sheet over her face.]

[He swims over to her, Greed himself is mostly submerged in the water with the tube, really only using it so he doesn't sink.]

Relax.

[Once he's near her, he moves to pull her hair out of her face.]

Lean on it instead of trying to sit on it.

This design is severely flawed!

[Lust does as he suggests, though, trying to relax and not cling so desperately to the floating tube. She doesn't like the idea of being so much in the water, but Greed's method of using the float does seem to be yielding more results.]

[Greed is probably much too used to going with the flow on certain things, especially given his tendency to randomly and violently oppose something seemingly on a whim.

It's probably a good thing that he decided not to fight the flotation device and instead lean against it, looking lazy more than anything else.]

Water's cold but it's not that bad. Might be more fun if we could swim, though.
