Who: Neku Sakuraba and anyone at Rocket HQ
Where: Rocket HQ, Goldenrod
When: 8/23
Summary: Neku's first week of training is almost over, but screw actually talking to his new coworkers that's dumb
Rating: PG
Log:
[it had been a Week, and he hadn't woken up.
It was time to accept that he wasn't returning to Shibuya any time soon. And that he was alive. And that his memories weren't returning. He had no reason to stay here other then the vague threats Nagi had offered him his first day, but after talking to people on the gear and getting a tour of the HQ, Neku came to a conclusion: no one had any idea what was going on, but at least the Rockets had the tech to eventually discover SOMETHING. If he wanted his memories back, staying put was best.
And that meant doing his 'job', like it or not.
Today that meant training in the less savory skill sets, but like hell he was getting help from his 'coworkers'. Instead he was in one of the training rooms with his pokemon. Seviper was cuddling the egg Neku had recently bought, but Meowth was showing him the basics of pickpocketing using one of the training dummies. The dummys pockets each had a bell, and every time Neku jiggled one she batted him in the head, hard.
He wasn't doing well]
That's it, I'm done!
[Yeah the cat is laughing at him]

She was not particularly good at them (primarily because her daddy was a dark mage and not a thief) and she didn't like them, but...
Well, they were kind of stuck here, weren't they? She figured there had to be some way to get out with no fuss, but... maybe being a double agent could be helpful, too. Still, if someone wasn't too into this end of things...]
...you know, if you're not into stealing stuff, you could probably do little things around the base to help out...

And stay here doing dishes all the time? No thanks.

[the worst double agent]

[She does have a point. But man that sounds dull as dishwater]

[...she pauses.]
...hahaha, personal trainer.

[He scowls, showing it was a bad experience.]

[She smiles sympathetically.]
Well, if you keep trying, you'll definitely get better. It just... takes a while, that's all.
