Oh I Wonder Wonder Do I Do I Do

Who: Anyone in [community profile] route_29!
Where: Standing in front of your PC!
When: The Week of September 14 through 20
Summary: A mod-hosted venue for players to thread out trades of Gen VI Pokemon!
Rating: G unless otherwise specified (so please specify if necessary)!
Log:

HOW TO USE THIS LOG:

• We've provided seven headers, one for each day, swarm, and location!

• Characters currently in the area who are offering to send out swarm Pokemon on that day should respond to that header with offers/an IC starter of choice/etc!

• Characters who have incorporated an offer to send out Pokemon in one of their own posts are also invited to link to their posts on this log if they so desire!

• Characters looking for swarm Pokemon respond to available starters and thread from there!

• Threads completed on this log do count towards AC, provided they meet our usual standards!

• Please try to keep threads reasonably on-topic; while we're in no way discouraging characters from making friends and building CR on this log, please utilize network posts or IC inboxes for threads purely relating to general gameplay conversations.

• For general information about the swarm plot, check here!

• For this week's swarm calendar, check here!

• For moderator questions about the swarm plot, check here!
enjoymyatelier: i am just done with this shit (ugh whatever)

Yes, you most certainly will. At least... provided I just don't end up completely numb to all this, of course.

And really, I have no idea. I did hear a few natives complaining about missing keys, but I can't say for certain if it's related or not.
captainash: (thinking)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-16 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
That's... actually starting to look more and more like the probable outcome to this whole... explosion of new species. I think I'll keep a very close eye on it while around other people, just in case.
enjoymyatelier: just imagine the crossed arms and this is von karma as balls (are you cross examining a parrot)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-09-16 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, that likely would be a wise idea. Do make sure it doesn't become too much of a nuisance if that does turn out to be the case, then.
captainash: (stoic)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-17 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Don't worry, if it misbehaves I'll keep it locked in our hotel room when I go to work.

...Is what I'd usually say, but in this case it looks like I'll have to take a few extra steps to be safe.
enjoymyatelier: maybe he should check the foundations, come to think of it. (red car. good point.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-09-18 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Keeping it in the ball and wrapping it with tape might do the trick... but who knows, yours might end up exceptionally well behaved.
captainash: (neutral)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-18 02:16 pm (UTC)(link)
...I won't be that lucky. I'm never ever that lucky. But tape is an excellent idea, thanks.
enjoymyatelier: just imagine the crossed arms and this is von karma as balls (are you cross examining a parrot)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-09-20 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
Well, here's hoping... I will try to get you one that isn't terribly behaved, but that's not really much of a guarantee. It honestly could simply be incredibly crafty...
captainash: (confident)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-20 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Craftiness, I can deal with. Not quite as well as I'd deal with good behavior, but it's still a big step up from psychopathy.
enjoymyatelier: maybe he should check the foundations, come to think of it. (red car. good point.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-09-20 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, admittedly, that's a risk too, although I haven't really encountered a Pokemon that hid that sort of thing well yet.

...of course, the key word there is "yet."
captainash: (stoic)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-21 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
From what I've seen they don't bother to hide it at all, well or not. But that 'yet' is still a strong possibility.
enjoymyatelier: just imagine the crossed arms and this is von karma as balls (are you cross examining a parrot)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-09-22 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
Precisely. Either they're extremely aggressive or they're relatively well mannered... though I think some of them have been a bit sarcastic with me.

You can't really complain too much about that, though.
captainash: (confident)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-22 04:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Why would you? It just makes training them more challenging and interesting.
enjoymyatelier: have fun storming the castle, kayneth (a totally honorable mage duel)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-09-23 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I don't take lip from the majority of humans, either. I can't simply let myself have some sort of strange double standard like that, after all.
captainash: (confident)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-23 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Why, because then humans might decide that double standards are unfair and give you lip anyway?
enjoymyatelier: zach. they're here. (migrane's a comin.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-09-26 11:53 am (UTC)(link)
Or the Pokemon would assume they were getting special treatment and take advantage of it.
captainash: (smiling)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-28 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure they wouldn't all be crafty enough to do that. Most, but not all.
enjoymyatelier: god damn it is hard to be polite here. (you are straining the limits of my class)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-09-28 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
...really, I'd rather not take the chance that mine would be one of the few. It'd set a bad example for the others.
captainash: (confident)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-09-30 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
They do say it only takes one rotten fruit to spoil the whole basket. A fruit that deliberately wants to spoil others would be even worse.
enjoymyatelier: but what would that even do. (gradients of babylon...?)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-10-01 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
Precisely. Fortunately, even my more poorly behaved Pokemon don't take to rabble rousing, so it's not as bad as it could be... but I'm keeping an eye on them all the same.
captainash: (happy)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-10-03 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
I think that's the wisest decision any of us can make, when surrounded by playful and clever critters.
enjoymyatelier: have fun storming the castle, kayneth (a totally honorable mage duel)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-10-11 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed, it is. Usually, they seem to be fine so long as they're not bored.
captainash: (confident)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-10-13 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
Which can be a problem, considering that ensuring they're not can be easier said than done at times.
enjoymyatelier: have fun storming the castle, kayneth (a totally honorable mage duel)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-10-23 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
It depends on the Pokemon, really. Some of them are easier to please than others, but they tend to have relatively simple tastes overall, in my experience.
captainash: (smiling)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-10-26 01:25 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't have half of them demanding their daily dose of interpretative dance the moment you wake up? Lucky you.
enjoymyatelier: no seriously what are you doing (uhhhhhhhh....)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-11-13 12:54 pm (UTC)(link)
...I am suddenly very, very glad I don't actually train any of your Pokemon.
