[They're a little cutesy for his taste, but from what he's learned, sometimes the cutesy monsters turn into something actually intimidating. He's willing to gamble a bit.]

As for what could be getting them worked up, I've heard about tremors happening earlier. You don't seem to be aware of them, though...?

I didn't feel them myself, but I dunno if that's cause I'm out here on the Routes or what...

I would consider the tremors to be a possible factor for the birds' distress, but I'm not sure if that would be a reason for the birds to react if they're out on the route with you. I suppose they do say that animals are more in-tune with nature than humans, but...hm.

[He shrugs, ultimately not that concerned. They'll calm down eventually, right?]

Well, I think a lot of them might have come from town, but a lot were out here when I got here. So...I dunno!

Yet another mystery to add to the pile, isn't it? This world never seems to be short of them, and I haven't been here very long.

Maybe. I'll have to see what I can do. It'll be a good medical exercise on the monsters of this world, at least.

Yup! It's pretty neat if you ask me. Stuff's happening here all the time, so it's not like it ever gets boring or anything.

I'm not sure yet; I deal more with physical ailments than mental ones. I'll have to take a closer look at the monster first.
