[Right, so. It's like the little bats all over again, it would seem. Today in Cherrygrove there are little birds eeeverywhere, and Jimmy's found himself in the thick of them. It's a bit hard to not be, with how many are flying around...but they don't seem to be very content for some reason.

From where Jimmy's seated in the grass, it can be seen that he's on one of the routes outside of town, where there aren't quite as many birds, but still enough to be noticed. They're tweeting softly, definitely not sounds of happiness but more of confusion and distress as they flit from tree to tree and hop along the ground.]

Does anybody know why these little guys might be so upset? I've been out here since this morning, and they were fine earlier...

[Held gently in his palms is one of the birds in question, who keeps looking around and peeping nervously, as if it expects something to happen.]

I dunno if something happened or what, so if anyone's in Cherrygrove right now and could help me figure it out, that'd be great!

[Jimmy, honey, you kindof....missed something...]

If anyone wants one, by the way, I'll try to catch one for you if I can. They still seem pretty nervous right now, so maybe in a little while...

Yeah, I know...I've never seen the Pokemon acting this way before, even the new ones that have been showing up.

Something I picked up a wile ago got kind of weird this morning, then it suddenly stopped. Though... I don't know. Maybe it's something around there that's giving them the creeps?

I want one. But... I felt something earlier. Tremors. I think an earthquake might be coming. They happen sometimes at home, so they teach us a lot about them.

[His Pokemon are uneasy, too. With good reason, honestly.]

[It's strange...he's noticed that his have been acting off as well. A lot more off than usual, really.]

That's weird, cause I didn't feel anything. Where are you right now, Tobias?

[Here we are...again...for the third time. Whoops.]

W-Well, um...don't take my word for it, but...I think something happened earlier. I-I felt...something, like the ground was shaking, but it could've just been my imagination since it was really brief...

[Juniper, do you really think tremors are "just your imagination"...]

If you wouldn't mind, though...could I have one...? W-When they're calmed down, of course.

[She'd feel terrible if you got hurt for her sake.]

Huh....yeah, Tobias said the same thing, but I haven't felt anything myself. Maybe I just didn't notice it...?

They do seem more upset than any species I've seen since the poodles. Do you think they'll feel better soon?

[Ash, that's kinda not the sort of thing people can tell.]

...I can help calm one down and raise it. I have lots of birds, so it would have plenty of friends.

I dunno...I hope so! They look like they're starting to calm down a...little bit, maybe.

[It's really hard to tell, that's for sure, but they've finally begun to settle in the treetops instead of flying around frantically like they were a bit ago.]

[Those are.. actually interesting looking bird Pokémon. They're bright orange instead of the usual browns and greys of most normal flyers. And while he already has a fair few flying types, one more never hurt.

So here we have Riku, eying the camera carefully.]

Hmm... There's gotta be a reason for it. We had those crystals a few months back, and October's coming up real fast. Wouldn't surprise me if those tremors were just the opening act.

[He reaches for his chin, brows knitting.]

Anyway, I'll take one of those birds off your hands. Maybe it'll feel more comfortable around some seasoned flyers.

Oh yeah, I bet you're probably right! I'll send you one as soon as I can.

It's weird! It's just like those bats all over again...I keep telling myself I don't think I've ever seen so many Pokemon at once, and then more show up!

Yeah, that's what other people have been saying, so it's probably right. I'm hoping we won't have anymore, because these guys sure aren't happy about it...

There was some kind of tremor earlier. It was a little unnerving, but nothing to bad. Maybe the little guys picked up on it.

[It wasn't frightening to him, but he can certainly see why such a small bird would be alarmed by it.]

I'm sure being around people and Pokemon that are calm will help them out.

Yeah, I sure hope so! I didn't feel it all the way out here...but I think it happened closer to town or something.

[They're a little cutesy for his taste, but from what he's learned, sometimes the cutesy monsters turn into something actually intimidating. He's willing to gamble a bit.]

As for what could be getting them worked up, I've heard about tremors happening earlier. You don't seem to be aware of them, though...?
