For a switch around Crocker is actually excited for Christmas this year but that may be due to the fact this year he knows there's something to look forward too. Santa here for one seemed more forgiving as last year Crocker didn't receive a lump of coal from Claus and not to mention has others to spend time with it this year as well.

He figures as much this is as good as any other day to invite some of his close friends over to meet the circus he's been able to call family.

In the meantime, he'll be wrapping gifts, hanging lights and getting the Christmas tree together and the other various decorations.

"Aww...well, it's nice to meet them! I wish I had Spooky with me, he'd prolly like to make some new friends, too." Not only that, but Jimmy's own Phantump is just as shy as this little group of them is.

"You can always bring him by our shop, if you'd like!" she chirps as though this is the most helpful and obvious solution in the world. "I'm co-owner of a sweets shop, as you can see by all this I brought, the little ones always like to meet new people to play with."

"Oooh, a sweets shop?" That gets Jimmy's attention right away, for obvious reasons. "I'll make sure to do that sometime! Is it here in Goldenrod?"

"Yes! It's called Honeyed Soul, and its whereabouts are--"

Well, a visual is always better, so Botan pulls out her Gear to show Jimmy where the general location is on the map. Unfortunately Honeyed Soul is not specifically listed there or as a business yet, but there's recognizable landmarks nearby at least.

"We like having visitors, our place also doubles as a dojo if you wanted to get some training in."

"Honeyed Soul, got it. I'll remember that!"

The training sounds promising, too, since Jimmy is always happy to get some in when he and his team gets the chance.

"For now, help yourself to these," she indicates the now fully set up spread. "I made them all for this party, after all, Denzel's a friend of mine."

Yes, she referred to Crocker both by his first name and as a friend. It was one of those lightning strikes in the same place moments.

No kidding. But Jimmy doesn't seem phased by that and just nods with a smile, pulling his Cyndaquil off his shoulder to let him sit on the edge of the table and help himself to a few of the treats.

"Haha, you don't have to tell me twice! All of this stuff looks really good."
