Who: Joker, Beast, Ronald Know, Snake, Jimmy, Ib, Hagakure, Botan, Crocker and the rest of the circus
Where: The Circus
When: 12/25
Summary: Celebrating Christmas at the Circus
Rating: PG - PG13
Log:
For a switch around Crocker is actually excited for Christmas this year but that may be due to the fact this year he knows there's something to look forward too. Santa here for one seemed more forgiving as last year Crocker didn't receive a lump of coal from Claus and not to mention has others to spend time with it this year as well.
He figures as much this is as good as any other day to invite some of his close friends over to meet the circus he's been able to call family.
In the meantime, he'll be wrapping gifts, hanging lights and getting the Christmas tree together and the other various decorations.
Feel free to help or just mingle with anyone who is there. IC Present Exchange. There's plenty of festive food too! Go nuts and make your own threads :)

"Wotcher, Denzel!" Ronald calls as greeting. "Decided to put up the fairy lights, eh?"
no subject
"You could say that."

The reaper meanwhile has taken to circling around in order to find a better position to direct his partner. "Hang tight'n Grim'll have you out there faster'n you please." he calls after a moment.

Stumbling himself back to his feet and fixing his glasses, "Thank you..." His voice sounds a somewhat hesitant but if only because ghost-type Pokemon still give him the willies.
"I suppose you're not as scary as you look."

Crashing this because these two need to meet already.
"I'm Snake, says Gaskell," the snake charmer informs Ronald.
Snake spends plenty of time around the circus practicing and refining his act, but any practice aside from choreography he tended to do in the Rocket gym. It had a lot of equipment that he could use to challenge himself. He figures it is one of the things he would honestly miss when he found a way to get out of the organization.
For now, at least, he's been enjoying the holiday spirit and not worrying too much about practice. Instead he's decided to try to find and welcome the circus members he hadn't really met yet.
Hells yes!
"Snake, eh...? Or is that Gaskell? Either way, pleasure to make your acquaintance, mate." he replies, one hand accepting the mug, the other reaching out as an offered handshake. "Can't say this isn't the first time we've spoken... 'fraid all I know about you's from your act."
\o/
He shakes the offered hand before explaining. "This is Gaskell," he says as he points to a seviper, "This is Ruskin, John, Zola, Quincey, Thomas, and Snake, says John," Snake says as he points to another seviper, an ekans, a dratini, an onix, and finally a snivy.
Honestly, Snake isn't sure what to say about himself besides his act. Just announcing that he also has a passion for reading just seemed odd. Then it occurs to him, he might as well ask about the man's pokèmon. "What kind of pokèmon do you train?"

"It's so pretty!"

Growlithe being the most excited and her paws, pawing at Ib.
no subject
"Hello, everyone!" She pets Growlithe a bit before Ember the Litleo comes tumbling in and demands to play.

Denzel on the other hand, hears all this and remarks, "What's all that racket about?!"
That is before shaking his head as if he's seeing double and finally does notice Ib, "Hello. Merry Christmas. I'm glad to see you again."
Despite how sincere he is... there is still just something off about his tone.

With his Cyndaquil still riding on his shoulder he saunters in to have a look around at how things are decorated up all nice, and likely stops to chat with anyone nearby if they happen to be there.
Eventually he makes his way to where Crocker is and offers a friendly wave, one that his Cyndaquil mimics cheerfully. "Hiya Mr. Crocker! Did you put up all these decorations?"
no subject
Giving Jimmy a small wave, "Hello. That's just a plain silly question - YES!"
The man steps a big more forward towards both Jimmy and the Pokemon, and he may or may not have a tree ornament hanging from his shirt or pants as per usual the man seems more friendly with the Pokemon, however and gives the Cyndaquil a small smirk.
"OH! I see you have one of these - POKEMON as well! When did you get yours?"
no subject
"You think you might need some help getting these lights put up?" Considering the...decorations he's currently covered with.
no subject
In other words, Crocker gets a bit excited and scares his own Cyndaquil.
"...Sure?" The man replies a bit confused because Jimmy trusts Crocker enough to be around the man and electric lighting.
"Right this way." There is just something off in his voice even if there are no ill intentions.

bc why SHOULDN'T Jimmy meet with Death
Well, it's obvious that the answer should be yes, the options are he's part of the circus or he's a friend of Crocker's, but it's better to ask instead of assuming.
Meanwhile, little eyes peek out at Jimmy from under the table accompanied by two sets of big red eyes. They're Botan's ghosts, waiting for her to drop something so they can eat it.
HE SHOULD CLEARLY
"It's nice to meet you!"

Denzel, where should I put this?
[She probably should have said this first, but:] Happy Christmas to you as well.
no subject
You could put that over -
[The man stops as he becomes pale for a moment or two. Ghost-type Pokemon.]
On the table right there...
Merry - CHRISTMAS!
[After his exclamation gives Botan a small smile.]
I'm glad you could come.
no subject
Well of course, I wouldn't be able to give your gift if I didn't come. Aku, Batsu, let's start putting them on the table, shall we?
[Referring to the Gengar, obviously, as they head to the table and start to arrange sweets. Strangely dutifully, almost like they've done this before.]

can either do comment spam or this way, just reply how you wish~
The gifts at least are Snake's idea. So many people he never met before have been exceptionally kind to him and accepting of him despite his odd appearance that it just seemed right to do something to be kind to a lot of people, even if he didn't know them, or didn't know them well.

Crocker gives a bit of a chuckle since he knew that Snake wasn't very social, "Actually - why did you slither out today? What do you think of the decorations?"
no subject
"The decorations are pretty, says Zola."
