Who: Chie Hori and you! (plus two locked prompts)
Where: Goldenrod City
When: May 13th
Summary: Now that Chie finally is in Goldenrod, she decides to explore the city and take pictures of everything.
Rating: PG-13, probably? Discussions of cannibalism may come up in threads with castmates.
Log:
(A - LOCKED TO TSUKIYAMA)
[ She ended up staying in Cherrygrove a little longer than intended to save up money for a camera, but on the morning of the 13th she finally decides to make use of the Abra Tsukiyama sent her. Teleportation is a weird experience and it's a bit disorienting, just popping in like that without being able to see the destination ahead of time but it's also really neat.
Not long after, she takes out her PokéGear to type a message: ]
I'm at the Pokémon Center. Come pick me up and treat me to parfait.
[ Once that's sent out, she plays with her Abra for a little while before she grows tired of waiting indoors - so by the time Tsukiyama gets there, he'll find her taking pictures of some bushes growing near the entrance. ]
(B - OPEN TO EVERYONE)
[ After she's spent time with Tsukiyama and filled her stomach with an absurd amount of dessert, Chie leaves to explore the city - and more importantly, to buy herself a good camera because she's spent over a week with just the one built into her PokéGear and that's no way to live at all. She's perfectly fine with being kidnapped to a different world but taking her camera is completely unacceptable, in her opinion. Once she's found the perfect camera (that happens to be an adorable shade of pink) she is absolutely excited and immediately sets out to put it to good use.
That said, anyone in Goldenrod today may run into a tiny girl who looks no older than twelve with her camera raised in front of her. She's almost constantly moving, her footsteps creating a steady rhythm on the pavement, and when she stops it's to take a picture of something that catches her attention - which can be pretty much anything, ranging from things on display in a window to a bicycle somebody propped up against a wall.
She's particularly interested in taking pictures of Pokémon, however, having recently made it her goal to photograph all the different species in this world. So if you happen to be around with one of your Pokémon out of their Pokéball? Then congratulations, you're about to get approached by a girl who aims her camera at your unfortunate critter and then snaps a picture of it. Apparently she doesn't care about asking for permission first, um. ]
(C - LOCKED TO THE TOKYO GHOUL HOUSE)
[ It's late in the afternoon when she decides that she should call it a day and go to the house since she hasn't seen it yet. So after making a quick visit to the Pokémon Center to retrieve a few things from the PC she heads over to the address she's been given.
...Let's just say that there now is a tiny girl standing in the hallway with a stupid number of Zigzagoons gathered at her feet. Thankfully, they don't seem to be interested in immediately swarming the house and settle for simply sniffing around in her near vicinity for the time being. ]

The moment the group reaches where Chie is, Isamu stops short and glances up at her, just seconds before she snaps a picture of him. The flash causes him to blink slowly before he sits down hard on the pavement, his jaws closing on the toy as it gives a plaintive eEEEEEEEEEeeeeeee in response.]

Chie turns her camera around so she can check out the result on the screen - and smile, pleased with how the picture turned out before she finally says something to Chihiro. ]
What kind of Pokémon is that?
[ She could use her PokéGear to identify it but that would require digging through her shoulder bag for it first and she doesn't feel like doing that. ]

[Isamu shakes his head a little, blinking a few more times to try to get the spots to go away before looking at Chie again, squeaking his toy a few times with his tail wagging slowly. It seems like the flash didn't bother him too much at least, especially since he's been used to Chihiro taking pictures now and then for he and Nanami's scrapbooking, lately.
Chie's in for a treat- if you could call it that- since Isamu is...not really your average Linoone. He's very obviously a bit chubbier than they're supposed to be.]
no subject
Are they all chubby like that?
no subject
[Speaking of eating, Isamu's on his feet again soon enough, walking a bit closer to Chie to try and sniff at her bag a little to see if she might have anything that smells interesting in there, all the while still holding the toy in his mouth.]
I've been trying to keep him away from scraps...and get some exercise once and a while, but it's been working very slowly.

[ She crouches down to get a closer look at the Linoone, letting him sniff at the bag - has a few snacks and a can of soda in there, which he is likely going to notice. ]

...Er, hi? Got a good snapshot of Perl?
[The young adult, in his early 20s, asks Chie with an amused smile.]
no subject
...Give her a second, she's focusing on getting a better shot this time. ]
no subject
It's kind of amusing and it makes Atsuro happy that she's enjoying herself.]
no subject
Ta-dah!
no subject
Wow, she looks great!
[Hearing that, Perl looks up and barks. Let her see!]

Kawa, on the other hand, took the opportunity to pose with her flesh ribbons. Apparently now was the time to play model.]
Uhh...
no subject
Are the ribbons made of flesh?
[ They sort of remind her of a ghoul's kagune, except they look considerably less lethal. ]
no subject
...I think they are, yeah. I don't remember ever putting ribbons on her before.
[Considering how Kawa was wiggling them, the seemed pretty real.]
It's pretty weird, if you think about it.

And in a reasonable amount of time, he is; admittedly, what constitutes "reasonable" is a little arguable as far as Tsukiyama tends to go, but at the very least he is not hella late today because even if gentlemen can't be rushed any, that doesn't mean one cannot sufficiently move his ass if he deems the cause to be important enough. It's warmer than it usually has been lately, and he's dressed to reflect that, albeit in his usual DID YOU EVEN TRY sort of way; he's got some scarring on his forearms that definitely wasn't there back in Tokyo - the marks have gone light and silvery against his skin and they look weirdly like...non-animalistic bite marks and scratches, more like he'd gotten in a fight with someone rather than something, but he doesn't seem to mind them at all.]
Ah, Hori, there you are!
[The greeting comes as though he hadn't seen her immediately, though it's likely they both know that isn't the case; either way, he seems pleased to see her because YES HI HELLO THERE IT'S BEEN A WHILE.]
no subject
Hiya, Tsukiyama-kun. Let me ride on your shoulders.
[ The view is better up there, c'mon. ]
no subject
It's been a while since I've done this; you should be flattered.

I want a really big parfait with chocolate and salted caramel.
no subject
Chocolate today? ...Well, at least you don't have to worry about size, I've found some absolute disasters in my time here.

While Lady whimpers and trembles because everything in the entire world is scary, especially this stranger and her cute pink camera, Clover whirls around in search of what's freaking out her weird dog this time.] Ugh! Lady, what are you so—huh? Hey, what are you doing?

...Taking pictures.
