Summary: Now that Chie finally is in Goldenrod, she decides to explore the city and take pictures of everything.
Rating: PG-13, probably? Discussions of cannibalism may come up in threads with castmates.

(A - LOCKED TO TSUKIYAMA)
[ She ended up staying in Cherrygrove a little longer than intended to save up money for a camera, but on the morning of the 13th she finally decides to make use of the Abra Tsukiyama sent her. Teleportation is a weird experience and it's a bit disorienting, just popping in like that without being able to see the destination ahead of time but it's also really neat.

Not long after, she takes out her PokéGear to type a message: ]

I'm at the Pokémon Center. Come pick me up and treat me to parfait.

[ Once that's sent out, she plays with her Abra for a little while before she grows tired of waiting indoors - so by the time Tsukiyama gets there, he'll find her taking pictures of some bushes growing near the entrance. ]

(B - OPEN TO EVERYONE)
[ After she's spent time with Tsukiyama and filled her stomach with an absurd amount of dessert, Chie leaves to explore the city - and more importantly, to buy herself a good camera because she's spent over a week with just the one built into her PokéGear and that's no way to live at all. She's perfectly fine with being kidnapped to a different world but taking her camera is completely unacceptable, in her opinion. Once she's found the perfect camera (that happens to be an adorable shade of pink) she is absolutely excited and immediately sets out to put it to good use.

That said, anyone in Goldenrod today may run into a tiny girl who looks no older than twelve with her camera raised in front of her. She's almost constantly moving, her footsteps creating a steady rhythm on the pavement, and when she stops it's to take a picture of something that catches her attention - which can be pretty much anything, ranging from things on display in a window to a bicycle somebody propped up against a wall.

She's particularly interested in taking pictures of Pokémon, however, having recently made it her goal to photograph all the different species in this world. So if you happen to be around with one of your Pokémon out of their Pokéball? Then congratulations, you're about to get approached by a girl who aims her camera at your unfortunate critter and then snaps a picture of it. Apparently she doesn't care about asking for permission first, um. ]

(C - LOCKED TO THE TOKYO GHOUL HOUSE)
[ It's late in the afternoon when she decides that she should call it a day and go to the house since she hasn't seen it yet. So after making a quick visit to the Pokémon Center to retrieve a few things from the PC she heads over to the address she's been given.

...Let's just say that there now is a tiny girl standing in the hallway with a stupid number of Zigzagoons gathered at her feet. Thankfully, they don't seem to be interested in immediately swarming the house and settle for simply sniffing around in her near vicinity for the time being. ]

[He isn't expecting her to wait, really, and honestly if nobody's appalled by whatever chocolate trainwreck Hori orders then clearly something's wrong with this situation, yes.

He's rather content to not order anything for himself, outside of the usual coffee that he gets sometimes on outings like this; rather, he just sort of...watches her while she does whatever it is she's going to do over there. He's fully aware that he's going to pay, and he can't say that he minds; this is just something that they do by this point, even if it's been a while since they've done it.]

I've still got no idea how you don't die, ordering things like that.

Maybe I have an extra stomach for dessert. [ She says, jokingly. The parfait in front of her looks large enough to feed an entire family, with tons of chocolate, salted caramel and cranberries. It's a fucking disaster and she's going to enjoy every second of it. ]

I'll give the rest to the Zigzagoons if I can't eat it all.

[Um...]

How many do you have, exactly?

Ten. I caught them in Cherrygrove.

[HORI.]

That's a little much, n'est-ce pas?

[ IS THERE A PROBLEM. ]

It's a good number of Zigzagoons to have.

[...YES??? ...Maybe. Um.]

...Well, if one must have a large number of anything, ten is an acceptable number, I suppose.

...I guess I should explain why I caught them, huh? It's a relatively common Pokémon that's found in the first town most newcomers travel to. I don't think anyone's going to think it's weird to see one in a specific area.

[ ... ]

So I'm going to train them to spy on people for me.

[Good girl.]

I knew you wouldn't disappoint me.

I've no doubt that I can keep things interesting for you, should you ever become bored with the state of things eventually.

[ See, this is why she likes you so much, Tsukiyama. You make things fun. She looks pleased, and shovels a large spoonful of parfait into her mouth, humming with delight as the taste hits her tongue. ]

...So what happened to your arms?

[What can he say? There are upsides to spending time with those who used to be terrible people - they never really stop using terrible-person tactics, so long as those tactics work.]

Ah, I ran into some difficulties upon arriving here - nothing to be concerned about anymore, at any rate.

It looks like somebody bit you. [ ....Did...he get so excited he got in a fight with some poor unfortunate person? Because that's the first thing that comes to mind. ]

[And that gets his gaze to dart a bit, as though he's verifying that no one's close enough to overhear; once that's dealt with, however.]

Ah, non comodo - it seems this place has seen fit to complicate things for me, a little. I resorted to some unfortunate things upon my arrival.

[ There's a long pause before she says anything. ]

...Did you eat yourself again?

...Something like that.

...Why? [ Autocannibalism isn't the answer to all your problems, good god. ]

[Well, not all of them, no.]

There didn't appear to be any other valid options, little mouse, and I really do like keeping my mind clear.

So what happened, exactly? You said this place complicated things for you. [ She really wants the full story here, it sounds like a mess. ]

Apparently it likes to level the biological playing field.

I'm sure you've seen those on the network mentioning that they're no longer...whatever they were back home, n'est-ce pas? There was one particularly loud one that arrived about the same time as you.

[ ... ]

...Oh. I remember seeing that. [ For some reason, she didn't think about it all that much outside of "Okay, that's weird." ]

Physically speaking, anyway. It's been an...experience.

There's a girl staying with me; her name is Meridiana Everett. She doesn't know, and I'd quite like to keep it that way.

I won't tell her. [ Hmm, Chie recognizes that name - she spoke to her over the network briefly, about that fashion parade. ]

...Okay, I'm curious - what's the Gourmet's opinion on human food?

[Well, that got his eyes to light up, goodness.]

Dolce, dolce, I've never experienced anything like it - the depth of flavor is something I wouldn't have thought to be possible, even after having heard it explained! Obviously the quality varies, but the variety in the food itself is unreal - while I won't say that I find the state of things here entirely preferable, I wouldn't trade the things I've experienced in this regard for anything, it's been positively sublime and given me so much more to pursue in regards to finding my ultimate experience!

[oh jesus he's doing the weird hand-claspy thing and he's seeming very excited someone help]

[ Were they back home, Chie probably would start ignoring him about halfway through that because she's never really cared to listen to him ramble about food but this time she's actually paying attention to him. It's a rare moment; cherish it. ]

Have you tried parfait, yet?

[...That's a little surreal! And he's not altogether sure why it's happening, but you know what, he's not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.]

Ah, some, but nowhere near all - mostly the sort with entirely too much fruit.
