[Ilya wakes from her sleep to find something just slightly off...
Yawning and stretching, she takes a moment to try to figure out why her nightgown feels so tight. It's almost as if the thing shrunk overnight.
Opening her eyes and looking down at herself gives her another possibility.]
... Okay this is different.
[Time to check and see if anyone else had something similar happen to them. Don't mind the strange woman with white hair going around and knocking on your doors, everyone.]
Literally everywhere
[Once she's gotten used to the new bod and figured out what's going on (as much as anyone knows, anyway) Ilya has come to the conclusion that there's only one thing to do.
Bother. Everyone.
And so off she goes, taking advantage of the warping between cities and routes that keeps happening, with the simple goal of sidling up next to someone and spooking them her way of entertaining herself for the time being.
Hey, why not take advantage of the situation, right?]
[While Shirou has absolutely no idea where he is, he does know that the forest is always dangerous, which is why he's making absolutely sure that things are safe. There's people he needs to find and protect, especially as someone who's meant to be a hero of justice. So when he's spooked slightly by the older (?) girl, he can't help but be on the offensive slightly, having already projected Kanshou and Byakuya in his hands ask he asks in a stern voice, not wanting to hurt anybody if necessary]
Who's there-?
[He's being careful, but it's not as if he cares about getting hurt. Rather, it's more that he does want to get hurt in vain. Especially when he's supposed to be protecting people.]
[She leans in close, grinning at him widely, ear-to-ear. She hadn't expected to run into her dear brother today, but she's hardly going to object. The fact that he's holding those swords barely even registers... except that they're kind of familiar.]
[He stops in the middle of saying her name, a look mixed with disbelief, fear, and shock spills across his features, as if he's seen a ghost]
Ilya? [And he really has. To him, Ilya is a ghost that shouldn't exist. His mind reels and he can't help but remember when he saw Gilgamesh pull her heart out] R... Really?
If it's that hard to believe, then what happened in your timeline must have been really awful... No, don't tell me, I get the feeling I don't want to know.
[And now something occurs to her that she should probably double-check.]
Rin has told you about alternate realities, right?

[And if he's never met her before, then he has to have come from before the war even began. That would be a new temporal annoyance.]

No, but... [a beat, as he tries to get himself together] The ones I did know are gone.
[Dead, he implies, but doesn't say]

I... Okay, if that's true you're either far ahead of me or... things turned out differently for you. Either way, Shirou...
[She sighs.]
It's me. It's Ilya.
