Well, it has been a while since I battled. I kind of took a break after winning a badge... Hmm...

[She looks down at her Pokémon. Who would be good...]

Do you want to battle Himiko, my Sylveon, Chiisai, my Umbreon, or Nanako here?

[She pats the top of her Meowstic's head.]

I just gotta warn ya', they are super strong~

[Perry waves off the warning. Hey winning isn't too big of a deal to him (yet).

After thinking over a moment and deciding that his Psyduck wouldn't have a type advantage against any of them (is that bad form to do anyway?), he points to Nanako. They seem like a good choice anyway.]

[What Perry does not know is that this particular Meowstic has some bad habits. Nanako walks forward and stares at the Psyduck.]

N-Nanako, that's rude! He does not look like he was run over by a Miltank!

[She smiles sheepishly at Perry.]

[Normally Perry would just roll his eyes and ignore that insult, but this was his Pokemon Nanako just insulted, not himself. He adjusts his hat with purpose before gesturing to his Psyduck to do a Water Gun. The Psyduck, seemingly much less phased by the insult, obliges and shoots a Water Gun at the opposing Pokemon.]

[Rise doesn't even have to give commands. Nanako can read her mind after all. The Meowstic bounces out of the way of the attack and proceeds to use Disarming Voice on the Psyduck. Though Nanako doubts there's much emotional damage she can do to a Pokémon with the intelligence of a rock.]
