Summary: It's Rise's birthday. And with the Fourth Wall wackiness, she forgot to tell anyone. So here's a depressed Rise who now feels too awkward telling anyone.

Locked Prompt for Crocker

[Rise had found a bakery in the quieter part of Goldenrod. She was sitting at a table in the corner, surrounded by her Pokémon. Her Sylveon, Himiko, and her Umbreon, Chiisai, sat on either side of her, and a newly evolved Glaceon, Jin, laid beside Chiisai. Her ever present Meowstic, Nanako, was trying to cheer up her trainer by floating a burning candle and making it move in complicated patterns.

There was a very small smile on her face, though she still looked sad.]

[Rise's out and about town now, her usual smile very brittle. She'll nod to people she knows, but keeps walking, her Pokémon always at her side. If anyone pay attention, she's wearing a pair of black glasses, with small bands of color on the frames, a red Alice band, and a set of headphones around her neck. There's also a blue hat attached to a studded belt, buttons on the hat, and a random red rose attached to the band in her hair, and last, a black tie with barrettes attached. (Of course she's wearing clothes to match this look) These are not the usual things she wears, but items from her friends. She had wished for keepsakes from home, and they had been on her bed that morning.

At least something was going right today. Her thoughts are all over the place, so it'll be hard to get her attention.]

[gqerknkrne Her face is rather red now. JUST. THIS. She's not used to this kind of complimenting from someone she might actually be developing feelings for. Congrats. You've short-circuited her.]

[Oh wow, she was kind of just teasing her but to get that kind of reaction she's just going to roll with it. She barely even knows what an idol is, but if it means that much to Rise...]

Should we pull up the covers?

[She nods and covers them both with the blanket.]

[She adjusts herself so that she is laying on Rise's side, her head on her chest. She looks up at her, smiling warmly, leaving little space between them. She inches her face a bit closer as an invitation for Rise to make the first move.]

[For the first time in a while she feels self-conscious about her chest. Was it comfortable? Kairi moving closer makes that question fly out the window. Since she wasn't new to this sort of thing, she cups Kairi's cheeks and gives the younger girl a very soft kiss.]

[Kairi sighs happily, curling her whole body into the kiss in an attempt to prolong it as long as possible.]

[She delivers by deepening the kiss just a tad more, her hands moving up to Kairi's hair. It was soft and silky , so she lets her fingers play with it.]

[Oh, this is a different sensation. She's never had anyone play with her hair before, and this kissing isn't like what she's used to either. Her breathing deepens and her heartbeat quickens. Her hands wrap tightly around Rise's body, holding her tight.]

[She's never done this with a girl before. Kissing and cuddling. Yet it feels a lot better than it does with a boy. Maybe because girls were softer, or she knows from her own experiences what girls like. Hearing that intake of breath sends a shiver down her spine. She should probably stop this now.... In a minute.]

[Kairi's mind is going blank, only able to focus on the softness of Rise's lips and the gentle caress of her hands.

She opens her eyes, staring dreamily, to look into Rise's.]

[Rise is loathe to pull away, but she did forget to breathe for a moment when she sees Kairi's expression.... she could get used to this sight.

She takes a deep breath and now has a very tender smile on her face. She doesn't feel like they need words for this.]

[Kairi's breathing is heavy, her eyes locked on Rise's. She stares, mouth open, for a moment, before finally breaking the silence.]

Y-you're really good at that.

[Rise blinks before giggling, giving Kairi a sly smile.]

Well, of course I am. I've kissed a few people before. Plus, I did have a boyfriend. Though... none of those times felt as nice as this~

[A boyfriend. Rise had so much more experience than she had. It was hard for Kairi to be intimidated, but she's just not sure how she can compete.]

Can you... maybe... teach me?

[Teach her? The only people that would ask her to tech something like that would be...]

Eh? Do you have someone you want to practice for?

[If the answer is yes, well, Rise can't really say no even if she wanted to. It'd be a jerk move to do so. She could just go with it, though, and try to enjoy it. Well, that wouldn't be too hard. Kairi was cute.]

[She shakes her head.]

It's just not fair that you're so much better than me. [She smiles.]

[She lets out something like a snort and laughs before nodding.]

Y-You're so cute! Y-Yes! I'll teach you~

[There she goes again. All this "cute" talk is starting to get to her head.]

Thanks, Teach. [She giggles, leaning in for another smooch.]

[She is more than happy to give Kairi another kiss. This was getting better by the minute.]

[Eventually, she feels the need to break the kiss, her eyes fluttering open.]

[She smiles and nods. This is fun.]
