Well, draw some intersecting lines and call me a Triforce, this sure is an island, all right.

KEY:

• The GLOWING X at the upper portion of the island is where you will find Mewssingno! It won't be moving around much, so it will always be in the relative top section of the island, furthest from the safe haven for participants in the south. Exercise caution getting close to it, because...

• The PURPLE area surrounding Mewssingno is all area that will be affected by glitches! Inside that area, strange environmental things are likely to occur, such as attacks being deflected, neutralized, or outright disappearing and reappearing somewhere else, as if passing through a very small wormhole in space! You may play around with these effects as much as you like, but they should be contained to this particular area, and remember to ask permission from other players before randomly diverting a Hyper Beam through a wormhole directly at them in tags.

• STANDARD GRASSY areas in the lower part of the map are places in which characters are guaranteed to be safe from Mewssingno's glitches; however, these areas will be overrun by Fusion Abominations, so if you're just here for the garden-variety fighting of SquirtWeedMagneZards, this is probably where you'll be spending a lot of your time!

• The BLUE STAR in the south indicates a guaranteed safe zone from both Mewssingno and the Fusion Abominations. This is the station where a ferry to the island would dock, so you can find places to sit and a general atmosphere of relative quiet in here, making it a good place to store your wounded or to hide out. Characters may notice ICly that the Fusion Abominations and Mewssingno are avoiding this zone, or at least leaving it alone!

It's possible...from the way it's deflecting those attacks, it looks like it can teleport pretty much anything. Half of the region must have been caught up with it when it came here.

That's a lot of people and Pokémon... It's gotta be stronger than a Legendary!

It's definitely nothing I've seen before, not even in books. It looks...glitchy somehow.

[The way it's distorting space around it makes it look like something from inside a computer as opposed to reality.]

I've been in weirder places. It still hurts my eyes if I look too long.

Yeah...it really looks angry, doesn't it? And attacking is probably just making it worse...

[But what else can they do?]

Then why don't people stop? Can't we try to have our Pokémon talk to it?

I guess we could try, but...I'm not sure if it will listen.

[And you try to convince an entire island of trainers to all stop attacking at once.]

Yeah, we'd need a pretty powerful psychic to even talk to everyone at once. O-One that won't insult everyone. So Nanako is out.

[samsa]

[Nanako...]

I think the best thing we can do now is just try to stay as safe as possible. Same with our Pokemon.

[dangerousidol]

Right. Let's make a base camp then! Or something. Maybe a wall?

[How does on do these things? She's used to being outside of the area to provide support, not in the middle of it.]

Uuuh...well, do you want to keep fighting these things, or find a safer place to be? I think there's an area somewhere where they aren't going to.

That's what I came over here for. The other area is way too quiet, and way too many people wanted potions. I was running low, so I came out here. I still got enough for some battling, but I think I'll stick to defensive instead of offensive.

[samsa]

Ah...that makes sense. I don't mind staying out here for a while, but I'll probably have to head back if my Pokemon get too injured.

[Especially Rikki, who is bloodthirsty for fusions right now and cannot be stopped.]

Then let's fight together! That way I can cover your back if you need to retreat. Mine are still pretty up for fighting~ Well, except Kanji.

Thank you, Rise-san. I'm just hoping this doesn't keep up for too much longer...these fusions just keep coming from nowhere.

I don't know where they came from... I know this world is weird, but this is beyond weird... It's like someone mashed them all together, and then let them run free.

I was talking to Maka about that, actually. We were thinking that Team Rocket might have something to do with it.

[dangerousidol]

I don't know a lot about Team Rocket other than the stealing Pokémon thing. Would they really do something like this? And how?

I'm not sure, honestly. But it's hard to explain how else this could have happened, isn't it?

Yeah... it's like a really bad dream that we can't wake up from.
