Shades and general cool kid demeanor! It's a friend!]
Dave!
[This causes Jade to literally bounce to her feet and zoom in for a hug. Hyperactive dog girl get.]
Ohmygosh--I am so happy to see you! [And she really is, Jade greatly looked forward to seeing him along with her other friends at the end of the trip. Just...something weird happened and she's not entirely sure what. No, don't think about that Jade, you'll get that Feeling of Unease again.] Pokemon and one of my best friends is a really excellent dream!

Anyway, this is fine. Gives Dave a moment to compose himself. Fine. A-okay. She must not remember what happened if she's treating him like this.]
Yeah, well. Best get those pinching fingers ready for yourself, Jade Harley, 'cause this dream don't stop from getting realer by the second.
[He finally pats her back and disengages, then tilts his head to one side.]
Sorry it's just me, though. I mean, sorry for them, douchebags don't know what a sweet party they're missing. I heard the rest of our squad used to be here, but I guess they jumped ship before I turned up.

[She pulls back from the hug, tilting her head both to match Dave and in doggy "did I just hear that" expression.
Speaking of dogs, Bec has trotted up at this time, very unsure of what to make of all of this quite honestly. It's silly.]
These are some actual dimensional and time shenanigans we're dealing with right now? [...] That is so weird, I feel like I fell asleep right as I was meeting Jake and Jane, then it was dark, then I woke up here. [It occurs to her right after she says it that Dave might not know who Jake and Jane are. But then again...Knight of Time.]
...I think we are too old to be Pokemons trainers, though.

Yeah, well, you want to know something completely outrageous? Shit's bananas, Jade, this is gonna blow your mind. You know what this place's got besides Pokémon?
[He lifts both hands and spreads them at chest level to emphasize.]
Adult human beings. Ones who aren't even dead. How crazy and random is that? It's like universes exist out there that aren't even a little bit completely fucked up. And they have Pokémon, so why shouldn't we?
no subject
Holy shit, what.
[All right, that doggy head tilt might turn into an out-and-out neck twist if she doesn't straight up right now. B-besides, who tilts their head? Only...only dogs do that.]
Dave. If I am understanding this correctly, you're telling me that we are in a game that's not trying to kill us, there are Pokemon, and there are actual adults among us--perhaps not even just adults, other people as a whole. [A pause as Miss Witch thinks it over, Bec is pretty clearly concerned at this...interesting conversation that's taking place right now. Eventually, Jade presses her palms to her face as some Harley-standard expression of excitement.] OH MY GOSH, that's so coooool!
[It's a much better outcome than she expected! None of them will ever be lonely again!]

Someone told me there are one hundred entire people running around, Jade. That's one zero zero. Not even counting the native NPCs. Shit, did you run into Mom too or did you fall in somewhere else?
no subject
[You have to understand it's a little confusing.]

[A pause, she grins.]
Excuse me, I mean a Ponyta.
[Jade only nerds would--oh wait.]
Clearly the Pokemons world is not the biggest advocate for child safety, leaving a cool kid out in the cold like that.

[He sticks his hands back in his pockets and looks vaguely mutinous.]
You get me, Jade, why can't the universe supply me with a parental unit that can sustain me in the lifestyle I'm accustomed to. I don't ask for much, you know, just a roof and some microwave meals and the highest-end sound equipment money can buy. The basics.
