Who: James, Mary and Harry.
Where: Cherrygrove
When: Backdated to September 14th, in the morning
Summary: James has been looking for Mary since before he showed up in Johto, finally he can meet up with his wife again.
Rating: PG, can't really see it being anything higher.
Log: It had been a long and tiring trek back to Cherrygrove, one that James definitely didn't mind enduring again--especially since he knew where he was going this time. Not to mention it was for his wife. Which gave him a bit more determination and made him press on even when night was falling.

Though as Cherrygrove came into view, he started to get nervous and anxious. There was an unsettling feeling in his gut, one that he was trying to push away but it was proving difficult. He wasn't exactly sure where Mary was at the moment, but he was hoping she wouldn't be too difficult to find. He wasn't really up to searching Cherrygrove, not after the trip he just went through. Though, he would if he had to.

He needed to see Mary.

It wasn't that Mary didn't enjoy the city while she was there, the place was rather homely, and with the lack of vehicals and technology the nature around here just grew out of control. She sat outside the poke'mart, a shopping bag with three poke'balls and some poke'food inside for Vanonat having completely spent what money she did have.

She watched her new partner race around happily looking at everything and cooing at random people passing by.

Harry never imagined himself backtracking to Cherrygrove for any old reason. James' wasn't any old reason though. The blond had already done a lot for Harry such as during the time at the ruins. Harry didn't ask for the blond to come there, but he did anyways. Harry just wanted to return the favor.

He could only imagine how James must be feeling though, he finally was going to be reunited with his wife whom he had been looking for since he got here. Once they met up with her Harry would probably head to the poke center to give the two some private time.

Upon seeing Mary, James' entire demeanor changed. His features brightened, he was smiling, he looked younger--probably more so what he should look like opposed to how he normally did. His pace quickened from a sluggish walk, to almost a skip as he made his way over to her.

"Mary?!"

There was that raising in his voice that made it almost a question, but he knew better than that to even question the reality that was present before him. Without a doubt, there she was, there was his wife in flesh and blood.

He didn't know what to do what to feel what to say.

...But to curve the happiness that was swelling within him, almost bursting at the seams, was this unwavering thorn that seemed to have a fancy for his chest. That unusual and uninvited tightening caused his smile to falter for a moment, before he forced himself to regain the smile he once had again.

Mary looked up from where her gaze was originally stareing at the ground and perked up as well looking much better when she put on a genuine smile.

"James!" she rushed over to the last of her family and threw her arms around his shoulders. "James I missed you!"

James continued to wear his smile, putting his own arms around her and holding her tightly. It was surreal. He had talked to her on the pokegear, but actually seeing her, feeling her even SMELLING her perfume again made this seem so unreal. So dream like.

"Mary I missed you too!"

Mary feels tears of joy starting to well in her eyes. Squeesing James's shoulders she kisses his cheek.

"I'm so happy to see you again!"
