Who: Shadow the Hedgehog and Rouge the Bat
Where: Union Cave
When: Monday, Jan. 24th
Summary: On their way to the next town, Azalea Town. But first, the cave.
Rating: PG right now.
Log:
Weather forecast today, too much snow. Snow was never an issue until the day she was grounded. Even though the whole idea of being human annoyed her, she doesn't plan on giving up that easily. Being a bat would have been easier, but this she'll have to do, and not to mention some more trivia, but that she can worry later. Whether you are non-human or dead, somehow this place can fix it up. Rouge has also learned of new information during her stay here.
After another battle with a trainer, Rouge continued her travel with Shadow down the route. It's almost been a week since they left Violet city. The snow continued to fall while they traveled through light patches of snow. At least the snow wasn't that hard. When they head closer towards the cave, a Skarmory flew down. It dropped an egg to Rouge and headed out again. Rouge stared at the egg for a long minute, then tucked it in her bag.
"They make it sound so simple."

"That Pokemon might make traversing the landscape somewhat easier for us."

Rouge pulls out her Pokédex. "Now... let's get some real info on him."
The Pokédex said, "Onix, the Snake Rock Pokémon. It rapidly bores through the ground at 50 mph by squirming and twisting its massive, rugged body."

"I see... Well, we should be able to get it to move above ground easily enough. We can't exactly bore in these bodies."

She tosses the Pokéball out releasing the caught Onix. When the Pokémon was released, it let out a roar. "Easy big boy," Rouge called out to him as she scavenge her bag for potion. First thing first, get this pokémon up to health. The Onix stared down at the two.

Taking a few steps forward, he placed a hand to one of Onix's boulders, before wasting no time in climbing onto it. It hadn't tried to crush them at this moment, Shadow had little worry that it would attempt at all.
Pokemon were better off knowing their place.

"Onix, over here," Rouge called for his attention successfully. "We got a little dilemma here, and I hope you could help us out," Rouge began. "You'll meet better opponents out there anyway than this cave," Rouge added with a wink.
There was silent at first. Slowly, the Onix descends his head to the ground for Rouge to hop on. Either this rock head knew how to treat a lady or he accepted her as his master. It didn't matter either way. Rouge does so and the Onix rose his head. At least the cave was big enough or she would had to ride in the back with Shadow. She looked back at Shadow to see how he's hanging. When he was ready, Rouge gave the word.
"Let's go."
