Summary: It's about time all the Rocket Grunts of Saotome told the truth to their two friends.

[They had all gathered to a room at an inn in northern Goldenrod. There was a Gardevoir in the room, watching the door to see if anyone was listening outside.

It was time to tell the truth to Natsuki and Shou. Ren had planned everything he would say to others and hoped that they would take it somewhat calmly.

Ren told them how it was possible to become the member of Team Rocket right from the very beginning and how it didn't matter if you wanted to become one or not. This was what had happened to Haruka and Hijirikawa as well as Ren himself.]

Basically our job is to do mission. Most common one of them is stealing. I've been in the Team for months and I haven't done anything worse than that. [He shoots a glance at Hijirikawa, just in case.]

Before you ask - there is a way to get out of the Team. I have a plan for that as well, so I just need your co-operation. [Well, at least a plan to get Haruka out and that was the most important thing.]

Though before that. Any questions? I'll answer everything honestly and I'm sure Haruka and Hijirikawa will both do the same.

[ Of course Shou also missed Haruka -- so the first thing he does after getting his questions answered (and maybe shouting a bit at Ren) is go straight to her side. ]

Nanami... uh, sorry about that. Really.

[ scratches at the back of his head. He doesn't want to concern her more than he might already have, but he had to release his frustrations somehow. Shouting helped, and now he's calmer. ]

I've just been -- worried. About you...

[ hesitates now... ]

Do you -- remember going to America with me?

[ After finding out Natsuki and Hijirikawa came from the past (or so he's assuming), he has a bad feeling about what her response might be... ]

[heartandsong]

[Smile!]

I've missed you too, Syo-kun! [So much. She'd missed everyone so much. She was alone for a week "training" before she figured out what to do and how to contact others.... She missed her other friends.

Though, Syo's question threw her off.]

America..? I... [She shakes her head 'no']

[syochan]

[ Normally, he would have first reacted at "I've missed you too" -- he only said he was worried, that's all! -- but he's more concerned about her second answer. ]

"No"--?

[ he's frowning now, his fist clenching at his side. ]

...I thought so.

[ Should he tell her? He wants so badly to, but he isn't sure how to say it without making her sad. ]

[heartandsong]

[Welp, worry worry worry worry]

I-I'm sorry, Syo-kun. [Hug!! Don't be sad ;n;]

I guess I'll be going to America with you some time in my future, huh? [And she lets go and smiles at him]

I'll look forward to it!

[ N-no don't worry!! You're not allowed to worry about him, Nanami!! ]

[ He'll just freeze solid for a moment at the hug -- ]

D-Don't apologize!! Dammit... it's not your fault!


But, um --

[ How to tell her she shouldn't really look forward to it but it'll turn out good anyway?! ]

...Uh, right. Things will -- work out! Definitely!

[She nods, smiling happily now that he didn't look so sad.]

Right! And in the meantime, we can have fun here! [She clasped her hands together in front of her]

It's great to have everyone in one spot again!

Haruka is going to be one busy girl~~

[ Natsuki doesn't show it but he had been counting the days before this moment. In his joy, he didn't think and just gave her the tightest hug he could manage. It had been almost 30 days since he last held her like this.

Nanami was here.

He could touch her.

He could smell her. ]

Nanami-chan ... I have missed you ...

[If she could, she'd gasp in shock. That was rather sudden! He'd never done that before...at least...not in her timeline...]

I-I've missed you too, Shinomiya-san.

[ Those mean people who are making their dear Haruka-chan steal! ]

[She shakes her head as much as she can.]

No, I'm...alright. [Physically]

I'm not hurt.

I'm so glad! [ When he heard from Ren-kun what she was up to, he was so worried.

He can imagine Haruka-chan probably made a cute ineffective little thief. ]

[She smiles]

I don't take on the dangerous mission. And Jinguji-san has been helping me out, so everything's been okay.

[saxsongs]

[Ren's giving others some time alone with Haruka while he's checking his gear for new messages. At the same time he's talking with Ringo the Gardevoir about if there had been anything suspicious going on. Luckily, they seem to be safe.]

[pianosongs]

[Oh joy, the socializing part. While the Natsuki and Shou occupy themselves with gushing over Haruka, and while Ren does... whatever Masato doesn't care that Ren does, Masato is just going to stand awkwardly and stare around the room. They seem safe for now but he... really has no idea how to be friendly with people so the background is the bestest place ever amirite?]

[saxsongs]

[Ren didn't really care of socializing with his roommate, but he might as well try asking a few things. Hijirikawa had been the quietest of them all so it was hard to tell what he was up to - as always.

So he's walking to stand next to him - nostalgia might hit here from that one party, but it's not really the time or place for that.]

We need to get you out as well. Shinomiya was talking about it.

[pianosongs]

[Ren walking over surprises Masato, but he stays quiet, not wanting to start any trouble. The nostalgia isn't lost on him either, but he doesn't say anything and just looks to Ren with a small frown. Getting him out of Team Rocket?]

...And you too, you realize.

[saxsongs]

[Of course he'd say something like that. Why can't you just not mention that.]

I'm not leaving just yet.

[pianosongs]

Unfinished business?

[He scoffs, a little annoyed. But that annoyance isn't really enough to mask the concern; while he's quite certain Jinguji will be fine, as he was for the six or so months he had been there already, he doesn't like the idea of just leaving him there. Sure, he doesn't like the idea of traveling with Jinguji either, but it seems safer. Better.]

How long do you think you'll stay?

[saxsongs]

Something like that.

[He's not really sure if the business he has can ever be finished, but there is a limit to how daring he is. It's not like he's actually achieved anything lately either... but that's not a reason to just quit. It's more like a reason to keep going, at least for now.]

I have no idea. I doubt the time is as long as the time I've already been there...

[heartandsong]

[And when Haruka has a moment to sneak away from her two other friends, she'll greet Masato with a grin.]

It really is good to see you again, Hijirikawa-san.

[pianosongs]

[That grin just brings a smile to his face. He's rather glad she slipped away to visit him.]

I'm glad to see you too, Haruka. How are you faring?

[heartandsong]

I'm fine. Despite the situation, this place is actually a lot of fun!

[Smile smile]

Have you managed to make any other friends here yet?

[pianosongs]

Is it now?

[With the loss of his socks and going on really dumb adventures to battle things outside all the time, he doesn't see the appeal. And no piano, it all sucks.]

I haven't given it much priority.

I managed to make a few friends here. And...most of my pokémon are very friendly so we go out on walks a lot. And whenever I have time, I compose still. I've managed to make a few songs.
