Attack of the 'mons!
Who: Rampaging Pokémon and YOU!
Where: Goldenrod City, various locations.
When: Feb 14th, early morning to afternoon.
What: Brainwashed Pokémon and Bowser's minions attack!
Rating: Not sure, but there will be lots of violence. These Pokémon will go all out on humans. Injuries may occur.
[It's about 10 AM when it happens.
The ground within Goldenrod City rumbles. It starts out as a series of small vibrations before growing, escalating. Smoke, fire, and roars soon follow.
It's impossible to miss the Pokémon as they make their rampage. Two Ninetales dash through the streets, yowling, howling, growling away, spewing flames at anyone and anything that crosses their paths. Will-o-Wisps to induce burns, Confuse Ray, bites, scratches, bursts of flame. They're not alone, either. Those who manage to get a good look at them may notice their eyes look remarkably bloodshots, while their pupils appear as little slits.
A Venomoth takes to the air, sprinkling powder attacks and unleashing blasts of Psychic and Poison attacks. Perhaps even some Supersonic.
The earthquakes progress through the town, drawing closer to the Department Store. The cause? One cackling Torterra, stomping her feet and throwing around rocks, grass type moves, and all sorts of terrible tricks. She's joined by a drooling Swampert, who grumbles and snarls, and starts launching water, ground, and physical based attacks. He's the first to burst through the Department Store doors; the Ninetales soon follow suit.
But perhaps the most frightening of all is the Salamence swooping in, tongue dangling from his mouth, a giddy grin on his face. Those facing Rex may find themselves facing his terrifying fangs, claws, and massive weight; at 12', he's nearly three times the size of your average Salamence. With no sense of empathy, he sees everyone and everything as 'playmates'...
In other words, expect attempted mauling.
But who's the one orchestrating this mess? And will any brave heroes step forward to silence these beasts before the mayhem escalates?
Either way, you better hurry! The city won't save itself.]
[ooc: There will be no major property damage, but there will be damage nonetheless. Most replies will come from
koopacrew; Bowser himself is largely keeping out of sight.
More details here.]

Either way, the chaos doesn't go unnoticed and he's close to scowling. That's about when he shoots off a text to everyone he knows would want to help (and would actually be helpful), a list that consisted of Riku, Sora, Evan, Obito, Tenten, Lightning, Ventus, Terra, and Rin.
That's when he throws Ino and Blaziken out of their balls, gathering them close and telling them a plan. And when their plan goes into action.
While Sasuke's leading from the ground (as well as serving as a distraction for the Torterra and Swampert), Ino is carrying Hiruzen high into the air above them, dodging debris at every opportunity. The first thing he had to do was stop the earthquakes... And, no matter how strong that Torterra was, it wouldn't be able to stand up to that.
Swampert was going to be much more difficult though...]

Seems there's a Pokémon utilizing Psychic!
There's also a flash of red and blue zipping by with a bellowing roar. Watch out for falling rocks! Rock Slide's a fun little trick.]

[Sasuke grimaces at the sight, getting his pokéballs ready for quick withdrawal. He told Lightning that he'd pull out if things got too hairy, but he had to be careful. He didn't want them getting too badly hurt.
Ino shake and quivers alongside Hiruzen, but at last she starts to spin, eventually hurtling Hiruzen down towards the Torterra below. Thankfully, it seems like Hiruzen regains himself and rights himself, one leg going down and blazing. The air whipping around him helps the flame grow much bigger than it normally would, aiming directly for the Torterra's head.
Good fortune doesn't smile on Sasuke's pokémon for long though, and Ino gets hit by one of the boulders. Sasuke, with a dark frown, returning Ino to her ball at the heavy blow. Damn, this is more dangerous than he thought it was...]

So right now she was flying on her Charizard, with Togekiss flying besides her. Their target? The Torterra heading towards the Department Store. The sooner that they can stop the Earthquakes, the faster others can take care of the other things. She's going to wait until they're really close to it to give out attack orders, but as long as they stayed in the sky, the should be fine for the most part...]

There's nothing worse than a rock type move against a Charizard. Better think fast!]
no subject
Okay. Try going around a few of the other buildings.
[And while Charizard and Togekiss go to do that, Hikari's going to keep her eyes peeled on the sky, waiting for the Salamance to come into view again.]

sob, sorry for being so late ;;; we had a week full of visitors ;;
It's alright!

[For now, her primary targets are the rampaging Ninetales in the streets and the Venomoth in the air, assuming there might be others going against who's been using the Earthquakes. Both Madoka and Blindy were surveying the air for the Venomoth while Wani and Ruka were ground level besides Misaki, ready to take on the Ninetales. Akatsuki was also taken out but he's nowhere to be seen. Since he's had a knack for battle strategies, maybe he has some sort of idea...]
[The Ninetales can expect a double layer of Toxic Spikes coming towards Misaki's way, as well as an oversized brutish Feraligatr powered up by Helping Hand beforehand.]
no subject
The Venomoth seems to be spraying powders wherever she flies while screeching out SuperSonic. They're going to have to play it safe if they don't want to get nailed by statuses, but at least they have a type advantage on their side to make up for a level gap.]
no subject
[As Wani was attempting to hit something with his Aqua Tail, Ruka on the other hand sent an Earth Power towards the one who sent that Confuse Ray. How dare they made her friend become a danger to himself and everyone!]
[The two spotted the Venomoth preoccupied with sending out statuses attacks and were making out a plan for themselves before going after the purple moth. After a small moment, only Blindy went came after the Venomoth, attempting to shoot an Attract to at least distract her a bit. In the mean time, Madoka was trying to stay out of sight as she prepped for a Sky Attack as seen by her glowing body.]

That's it. Gloves are coming off.
Cheria's not in the department store, but she felt those earthquakes from the flower shop in the northern part of town, so she is instantly running out the door and throwing several Pokeballs; Two Gyarados, Kingdra, Raichu, Swoobat and Lopunny, all six follow Cheria as she races down to the department store. It's the Kingdra going for both of those Ninetales, Lopunny getting directed at the Torterra, and it's with both Gyarados at her side that she turns her eyes on the giant Salamance.]
Dualscar, Mana, ice beam and twister!
[The Raichu and Swoobat are then getting sent after the Venomoth then with directions of thunderbolt and psychic.]
no subject
Those going after the Venomoth may find themselves dealing with an onslaught of status moves. Supersonic, powders, and Signal Beam for the Swoobat.
Obviously, she is outnumbered, but that won't stop her from putting up a solid fight.]
no subject
Pirika, light screen! Mana, rain dance! Dualscar, twister!
[Are we making a god damned thunderstorm? We are making a god damned thunderstorm, if the clouds forming overhead from the storm on top of twister mixing together are any indication; the friction in the air is making Pirika's cheeks light up nicely.
Out and about in town, Sue keeps giving chase to the Venomoth, bouncing between the use of protect, calm mind, and future sight. Supersonic is starting to become a real problem though, especially when it causes one of the aerial ace attacks to go shooting through the air at the radio tower.]

Nami, Sora, see if you can get the one in front. Don't let them get too far in!
[Stupid is sticking by his side for now, and Aura, though not given any commands, promptly disguises himself as a Charizard and joins the fray, mostly flying around in an attempt to create a distraction.]
no subject
The Charizard illusion, though, catches her eye. Hope ya like rocks, you silver-haired guy!
Why is this all being written in rhyme? Who knows, who cares? It's battle time!]
no subject
Rep also stumbles, narrowly managing to avoid falling onto his partner...and also narrowly managing to miss the cascade of rocks that nearly lands on him a couple seconds later, some bouncing off of the floor and landing on his legs. He's never seen a Pokémon attack a trainer directly, and hates being mostly defenseless. If that's going to be how it is, he'll look for something to use as a weapon.
Meanwhile, Nami and Aura have taken to swooping around the Ninetales that followed Shell Smasher in. Or were, until Aura gets clipped by a rock, forcing Nami to snatch him out of the air as soon as the illusion is gone.]

Rose>John>Pokemon!
She recognizes those fox Pokemon...and a quick exchange with her Espeon confirms it.]
John, that’s Hanabi and Ojiro.
[She’s not sure what’s going on, but her Pokemon are attacking the town and that’s not okay with her. Tugging on John’s arm, she starts after them with Guile on her heels.]
no subject
[So focused on everything else that had to be done today, it took John’s mind a few moments to catch up to what was going on. His Lopunny and Lampent were fortunately more on top of things than their trainer, following after Rose without having to be half dragged towards the mayhem.]
[Once John has his wits about him though, a glance up into the air reveals something that makes him wish he had stayed spaced out: an all-too-familiar Venomoth. He grits his teeth.]
That bastard! Chandel, hit her with Fire Spin [He pauses.] but not too hard.
[He’s aiming to stop the Venomoth after all, not kill it. And with Chandel’s lower level, he may just be able to accomplish this. Maybe he can talk Sara out of this or something.]
[The Lampent makes a determined noise, all too happy to oblige and shoots a pillar of flames at her former teammate.]

...he just. Well, since he's on his way there anyway he may as well switch out his current Pokemon for his level 100s in the event that whatever's causing this is strong enough to warrant them. He's a short ways from the Pokemon Center, though, and nothing will guarantee that he'll make it there before getting attacked... he'll leave his Sigilyph trailing behind him since she notices things and is reasonably fast...]

Rex bellows and roars, claws flexing, tail twitching. Better start running faster!]

Inviting Temeraire to come in at any point!
And now are accordingly on the ground floor, Bobbery and all four of his team - even the two young rascals the Prinplup and the Wingull - in battle position as the Swampert and the Ninetales come in.
They all flinch and sharply draw back as a watery blast from the Swampert nearly catches them.]
I say watch yourselves!
[And Bobbery's eye darts around the room, over the two attacking Pokémon, the civilians scattering along the walls either up the stairs or, for the lucky ones getting an opening, through the doors - he focuses on the fox. He's faced a trainer or two on the roads who had foxes - unevolved ones, but nevertheless, their type is fire.
He draws another step back and looks over at Scarlette and Pendrake, catches each of their eyes and gives each a sharp look which he then tosses over at the Ninetales. Catching the suggestion, they edge forward.]
At the ready! ...Now!
[They loose their water attacks in unison - the Sealeo launching a Water Gun and the Prinplup launching a Hydro Pump. A bit outrageous it was seeing him using a move with that pressure for the first time practically fresh out of the egg, but anyhow.]
I'm ready whenever o>
Well, it definitely stings, but given their level advantage, it could have been worse. Much worse. In fact, their eyes start to glow, and they bare their fangs, growling under their breath. Then the air ripples, and a high pitched ringing like nails on a chalkboard wafts through the air.
Confuse Ray for those pesky water types! The other Ninetales, in the mean time, rubs its paws together for a good ol' Nasty Plot.
But the Swampert's lack of patience sends him scrambling through the crowd on all fours with a fearsome GAWAAAAARGH!
He flails his arms in his rampage, pulling off a series of Hammer Arm strikes, denting walls, rattling shelves, sending people to the ground. This ain't good, folks!]

tags ever so slightly late
The attendants are offering her a storm of fragrances when the chaos erupts. She's not sure what exactly is happening but her first instinct, with the shaking, is to quickly take the two bottles and hide them in her sleeve, so, you know, she doesn't have to pay for broken properties. The cashier starts to duck underneath the counter while Momo Hinamori gets out Woobat to use her Odor Sleuth and echolocation to see exactly what's going on. In the mean time, Sunkern is going to crawl up her sleeve. ]
W-what's going on?! [ ALL SHE WANTED WAS SOME PERFUUUUUME..... ]

The sight of the Woobat and Sunkern soon catch their eye, and they rush forward with a cackle. Better run, because there's a Dark Pulse and a Flamethrower coming their way!]

Customers are already running from the building, fighting shakes and - from the looks of it - strange attacks. Monsters attacking people? That isn't how this world is supposed to work.
Raven finds herself cornered by a Ninetales, recognizing that it may very well be herding her along the shelves into some kind of trap. A water-type would be good. But her only water-type is...
It's just not going to work. She sends out Melody, a Swablu, instead, having no real idea just how high-powered these Pokémon are.]
