It's here! It's here! Clair's first-ever (and, Lance hopes, last-ever) Pokemon Prom is here, coming to you straight from scenic Tohjo Falls! You've packed your bags, you've hitched your rides, and now you're taking your first steps in to a super swank palatial PokeManor where, prior to now, only the pseudo-legendary best of the best had ever tread. Gosh, that must make you pretty special, huh? (Well, you and everyone else in the massive crowd that arrived along with you, that is.) Of course, you're all destined for greatness. But at the moment, your more immediate destiny is forty-eight hours of fun.

☆ YOU ARE HERE ☆




KEY:

• BLUE areas are where the bulk of the party's events will be located! As you can see, the festivities will be taking place largely outdoors, and the grounds will reflect that; there'll be the usual decorations of pretty floral arrangements, little lights, things like that. Think garden party!
• GREEN areas are where guests will be staying overnight! Unfortunately, you'll be sleeping-bagging it up, since this is a house party and not a hotel party, but this is where you'll be given space to leave your possessions, claim some sleeping room, and generally crash for the night once the festivities do you in. (Note: you're welcome to try to sleep elsewhere, but Clair might catch you and disapprove. You don't want that, do you?)
• RED areas are unfortunately off-limits to guests! If asked about them, anyone will tell you that those are the rooms and areas that the Elite Four have claimed for themselves, and they're sealed off tight. Please don't try to break into them anyway; you'll only be caught and punished.

• AREA A is the designated Indoor Ballroom area, for the people who would prefer to class it up a little more than just your standard garden party. There's a big skylight, hardwood floors, tasteful artwork, and classy music — a little more upscale than the shenanigans going on outside, for the people who'd rather that kind of thing.
• AREA B will be the area of interest for anyone hoping to sneak a little Pokemon research on the side: this is the Library/Gallery area of the house. While most of it is your standard "tall shelves of ancient identical books" fare, there are a few points of interest — a sculpture of Lugia, a painting of the Ecruteak City skyline before the Brass Tower burned down, some stone etchings of what might be Fossil Pokemon, and so on. Guests are welcome to look around a little, but burying themselves in research the whole time will be highly frowned upon, and you'll be politely encouraged to leave the library alone and go rejoin the festivities if you hole up in there for too long.
• AREA C is...well, the Parking Lot. More importantly, it's where you take your Pokemon battles if you simply gotta get your battle on; keep it out and away from the house, please, and try not to make too much of a mess. Skirmishes, sorties, and sparring will be tolerated here and here alone. Do it anywhere else and you'll be facing some very displeased hosts.
• AREA D is the Elite Four's Trophy Room. Please be quiet and respectful if you come up here to have a look around; it's a solemn kind of place. Here you'll find various collections of badges, ribbons, awards, and trophies put on display, with one wall devoted to each member of the Elite Four. Of particular note is a glass case with a broken Ultra Ball mounted inside; the brass plaque attached claims it's the ball Lorelei was using when she almost caught Articuno. On a lighter note, there are also pictures of the Elite Four themselves — your standard Official Portraits™, sure, but also some framed candids of them in various configurations hanging out with their Pokemon and engaged in various activities around the house (Agatha making waffles, Lance and Bruno clowning around in the pool, stuff like that).

He's doing so quite respectfully, mind you. He takes a few minutes to look at each item, does not touch anything, pets his Clefable's head gently when she giggles quietly at a photo she particularly likes. But he's looking, and you can bet that a lot of mental notes are being taken right now.]

[Cue a snicker from Riku. He's been skimming the room himself; after all, the Elite Four have been so secretive. How could he resist a chance to learn more about them?]

I do like the more relaxed pictures. It's good to see that even high-level professionals have their favorites and that they spend time playing with them.

[It's good to see the types and Pokémon they'll use, should they ever be challenged. Rosie giggles to that, and points at the pool picture. Looks fun!]

[As the party gets late, he really couldn't resist stopping here to look at all the pretty things. He doesn't plan to stay here long, but does intend to give everything a good look first. He's in a Suit with a sleeping Eevee draped across his shoulder and a Riolu who is very interested in looking at everything with him]

[Cobra hasn’t really been in a party mood lately (or ever), so instead of being out there mingling, he’s in here looking at the various trophies. He’s more interested than in the trophies than the photos, but it’s the most information he’s seen on Elite Four in one place, so he’s making sure he gets a good look at everything. Most of his attention though is focused on the Ultra Ball and the attached plaque. Knowing how difficult it was for Team Rocket to capture Suicune, he can almost sympathize with the failed attempt. Almost.

With his outfit and the Ekans mask he picked up earlier, he thinks he’s completely inconspicuous. But with his voice and choice of masks, he’s probably not.]

[Ryner is probably even less inconspicuous, not that he really cares all that much. Oh, sure, it's not every day you see him in a suit, simple as it is, and yeah, he's got a mask, a simple black one with some red sequin and bead work, but he's taken it off while wandering through here, because seriously, masks are uncomfortable.

He's admittedly drawn to the broken Ultra Ball as well, though.]

[Having finally heard about the trophy room, Sasuke has made his way up to it and come across none other than Blue. He doesn't recognize the other as a gym leader yet (not having run into him previously), but whoever this guy is... If he's beaten them all, it's either a serious bluff or he's really strong.]

[So naturally Carmen's heading upstairs to scope out the Trophy Room she's been hearing about, because she's snoopy and she'd be remiss in her duties as the world's greatest thief if she didn't know every nook and cranny of this house before her time here was up, and for a while there it looks like everything's going smoothly as—

Well, maybe he'll be too occupied with trying to catch a glimpse of his reflection in the frames' glass to notice her just...ninjaing casually away...

He's not interested in how many there are, so much as what they're all for. The Elite Four are the best of the best, after all- so what do they have to win, in order to reach that position?]

[ Oh, Valeria is looking at that body alright. After getting shooed out of the library and returning very briefly to the ball room for show, she's made her way right back around into this area to contain with the task at hand, still very much dressed in finery with silver jewelry accented by orange sapphires and her off-colored Butterfree-styled mask tucked safely within one of the folds of her dress.. Namely, collecting information she deems useful or particularly interesting, which... well, there's a good number of interesting things to observe in the trophy room, a select few she'll undoubtedly photograph using her Gear should she deem them worth an uncontested memory. A very bored looking Jigglypuff is at her side, marker and notebook in paw. Scoping out the competition? Naturally.

[All right. This is the reason Blake bothered to come here, besides the little pink dog at his heels who never would've let him hear the end of it otherwise. There has to be something to find here. He told Steve to check things out and see what she could find, but pretty quick that turned into her just admiring the trophies and photos. That's what you get when you try to delegate your investigations. Blake's looking around to see what he can find.]

[Twilight is caught between wanting to run around and look at everything, and wanting to spend loads of time just studying one particular item. Not that she's sure which item, mind. There are just so many to choose from!]
