Log:

IMPORTANT: HOW TO USE THIS LOG

• Below is a table listing all the ID numbers of the profiles that were submitted to Project L.U.C.Y. over the course of the past week! Somewhere in here, you should see your ID number! Click it and that should link you to your dating profile.

• You should have also received a highest match ID number; it ought to be the person who shares the same first letter of the ID number as yours! Click that link on the table to be taken to their profile and meet your match!

• To peruse all the dating profiles, click "View All" at the bottom of the table, or just GO HERE!

• You may respond to more profiles than just the one we've ranked as your highest match! Though we ask that you please at least make contact with your recommended partner, you may tag out to as many additional profiles as you see fit! Take love into your own hands!

• In a similar vein, even if you did not participate in the initial sign-up and profile submission process, you may still browse and comment to the profiles! You won't get one of your own posted, unfortunately, but you're welcome to reach out and connect with the people who did!

• If you spot a coding error somewhere, please don't hesitate to let us know, and we'll get it straightened out ASAP!

PROFILE ID NUMBER: G1111

ABOUT ME:
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Location: Goldenrod
Seeking: Nobody…in particular, really? What I mean is I don’t really have a preference, I guess. If I were seriously looking, which I’m not…so much.

Five Words to Describe Myself: Studious, Dependable, Kind, Smart, Resourceful
Things I Like in a Partner: I like people who are open, but honest. I also like to read a lot, so if they did too it would be nice to have that sort of thing in common. It helps when you can’t think of much else to talk about, too.
Things I Dislike in a Partner: Uh…well, dishonesty. Or someone trying to be something they aren't just to get you to like them. I would prefer someone just be straight with me from the start. It would…make things a lot easier, that way.
One Fun Fact About Me: Well…I’m pretty organized. I try to keep things straight as much as I can, especially if I’m studying something or reading several books at once. Just so I can keep everything in order, really.

[All right.

This guy isn't seeking dates or anything so that's good, maybe they can just talk and be friends over books. Nothing wrong with that.]

Hi there.

Um.

I'm not the person you're matched with, and I'm totally not interested in anything but friendship. But I feel like we have a lot in common?

My profile isn't...I didn't fill it out, I promise I'm not that obnoxious. Or at least I don't *think* I am.

Anyway I'm setting myself on collecting books right now and I don't meet a lot of people into reading that are close to my age, so maybe we could talk about books some time?

[...So she rambled a lot in basically a roundabout "let's be friends???" message. Good job, Maka.]
samsa: (Startled □ Hide what is that)

[personal profile] samsa 2015-02-14 08:00 am (UTC)(link)
[...did someone say talking and being friends over books, hello there.]

That's okay! Like I said I'm...not really looking too hard for someone myself, exactly...but I do like to read books. I have been trying to look through as many as I can find, here, but I'm sure you know more about the ones that are available than I do.

If you want me to, I'll just not look at your profile, if it isn't accurate.
soundmind: (Smile ► This time I'll disappear)

[personal profile] soundmind 2015-02-15 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
I would rather just let me speak for myself to somebody I want to be friends with, yeah.

My name is Maka, I'm 17 years old, my favorite genre is mystery. I've found a lot of equivalents of books I liked here, and I've even found some of people I didn't even know had books about them. This detective named Sherlock Holmes from my world apparently has a series of books written about him under "Shelgon Holmes" here. "Houndoom of the Baskervilles" is the one I bought most recently. What kinds do you like?
samsa: (Hee □ idk I just thought this was cute)

[personal profile] samsa 2015-02-15 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Oh- mystery is one of my favorites, too! Mystery and horror are my favorite genres, actually. I noticed that a lot of famous books seem to have been changed like that, here...but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It gives me an excuse to read them just to see how different they are from the originals, if I've read them before.

Ah...and, my name is Kaneki Ken.
soundmind: (Cheer ► Run on to the future)

[personal profile] soundmind 2015-02-27 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
Cool!

[As for horror, well, it's her daily life so she doesn't really partake.]

Oh, do you prefer being called Kaneki or Ken?
samsa: (Hee □ idk I just thought this was cute)

[personal profile] samsa 2015-02-27 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
Kaneki, please.

And you?
soundmind: (Talk ► Clean that shit up)

[personal profile] soundmind 2015-02-27 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Just Maka's fine, it's my name after all.

[Lil Miss Straightforward.]
samsa: coloring by <user name=winterbolt> (Smile □ yes this is my real hair color)

[personal profile] samsa 2015-02-28 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
Alright. It's good to meet you, then, Maka-san.

Where are you right now? Maybe we can get the chance to meet in person, sometime.

What kind of books do you like?
samsa: (Nervous □ which was it again?)

[personal profile] samsa 2015-02-14 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
[Whoop, hey Naegi-kun.]

All kinds. I'm particularly fond of mysteries and horror stories, though. The kinds of stories that really get you thinking are the ones I like the most, I guess.
superordinary: (pic#6135351)

[personal profile] superordinary 2015-02-14 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Hey there, fellow protagonist. ]

I'm more of a manga person than a book person, but I do read books once in a while. I think I like fantasy or adventure stories the best. I'm not a fan of the mystery genre, though - it seems that most writers don't think you can have a good mystery without a dead body showing up.

[ ...After the entire mess that was murderschool, he's had enough of dead bodies. ]
samsa: (Conversation □ let me explain)

[personal profile] samsa 2015-02-14 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's true sometimes. It can't be helped, but there are some writers out there who can...well, write outside the box, for lack of a better term.

[...you know since Naegi is from Japan too- though likely not his Japan- maybe it wouldn't hurt to ask just to see...]

Are you familiar with an author known as Takatsuki Sen?
superordinary: (pic#6290534)

[personal profile] superordinary 2015-02-14 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. I've never heard of them before.
samsa: (Bashful □ hahaha whaaaat was that)

[personal profile] samsa 2015-02-14 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
That's okay- I wasn't thinking you would. They're one of my favorite authors back home. Famous for several different best selling horror stories.
superordinary: (pic#5882422)

[personal profile] superordinary 2015-02-14 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, if they're from your world, then it makes sense that I wouldn't recognize the name.

I'm guessing you've never heard of Fukawa Touko, then.
samsa: (Blank □ I borrowed this coat)

[personal profile] samsa 2015-02-14 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't. What sorts of books do they write?
