• You should have also received a highest match ID number; it ought to be the person who shares the same first letter of the ID number as yours! Click that link on the table to be taken to their profile and meet your match!
• To peruse all the dating profiles, click "View All" at the bottom of the table, or just GO HERE!

• In a similar vein, even if you did not participate in the initial sign-up and profile submission process, you may still browse and comment to the profiles! You won't get one of your own posted, unfortunately, but you're welcome to reach out and connect with the people who did!
• If you spot a coding error somewhere, please don't hesitate to let us know, and we'll get it straightened out ASAP!

ABOUT ME:
• Age: 17
• Gender: Female
• Location: Goldenrod City
• Seeking: A kind gentleman, please, or perhaps a well-mannered lady amenable to a social companion of sorts...?
• Five Words to Describe Myself: Modest, pleasant, sweet-tempered, fair of face, charming.
• Things I Like in a Partner: Someone...who is kind, please, and not too bold, but understanding and gentle and well-mannered. I also would prefer someone who treats others well, and who is honest, and if perhaps that person should also be a bit protective of those he cares for, that would be quite the thing as well. Oh, and — charming, and trustworthy, and well-respected, I like those things as well.
• Things I Dislike in a Partner: I'd not like to make the acquaintance of anyone who is cruel, or manipulative, or false; I'd also rather not someone who is ill-mannered, boorish, or coarse, or who treats others poorly in general, and I should like nothing to do with the sort of person who sees others as playthings or novelties to be toyed with as he wills.
• One Fun Fact About Me: Perhaps it hasn't much to do with "fun", but as facts go, my favorite flower is the chrysanthemum.
text;
The things you like in a partner, too, I think I'm pretty decent at. At least, when I asked someone for words that described me, words like that were what I got back...so, if you'd like to maybe hang out or be pen pals, that could be fun.
text;
...And actually ends up pleasantly surprised, because oh thank god, the person who sent it seems...nice. Sincere and nice is a good way to start this little endeavor.]
O-Oh! Um...how very nice to meet you, yes. I would be most happy for more friends, especially other ladies. And I think your manners are very charming!

My name is Chiaki Nanami, and we're the same age. I like games, and I'm pretty good at them...I've never done this sort of thing before, but...if there's anything in particular you'd like to know, I'd be happy to answer.
text;
...What sort of games do you like? Skipping rope, perhaps, or...?
text;
Skipping rope...I did that once with Koizumi-san, and it was a pretty fun thing. I usually play video games more than things like that...but I don't mind doing them when there's someone to do them with. It's a little scary sometimes, but...it's worthwhile, I think.
text;
[But oh, boy, here comes the fatal question.]
"Video" games? I'm sorry, what sort are those?
text;
In the space of a minute, there's a notice on Meridiana's gear that Chiaki Nanami has purchased a game for download for her. Skimming the profile Meridiana had given once again, Nanami went with "Pretty Princess Pokémon", a Pokémon dress-up game. There are minigames within which earn Pokégems, which are the in-game currency to buy clothes and accessories. Your Pokémon can then have ~fashion offs~ with other people's in multiplayer mode. It is objectively pretty ridiculous, but the minigame sections aren't the worst thing ever. ]
Games you can play on devices like this gear. They're really cool...but the best way to learn about them is by doing them! So, I've sent you one to try out. I have an account, too, if you want to play together sometime.
text;
Oh! Well...I must say, it seems that way for a great many things in this place — learning by doing, and so on.
I shall do my very best at your game, Miss Nanami! I...er. Would you mind terribly if I asked for help with it on occasion?

My mom used to grow flowers, but I don't think she ever had chrysanthemums. They're really pretty, though, I can see why you'd like them!
[oh god is he doing it right help SO NERVOUS]
[text]
Hello! How very nice to meet you as well. What sort of flowers did she grow, may I ask? I used to have a garden with all kinds, myself; the chrysanthemums are my favorite, but of course they don't bloom all year!
[text]
Oh, all sorts! Violets, roses, I think she had tulips, too...I can't remember all of them, unfortunately. Do you have a garden?
[text]
How lovely! What color roses and tulips? Violets are always for modesty, of course, but roses and tulips might mean any number of things, from the color.
As for myself, I...haven't any sort of garden here yet, but I should like to have one come the spring, and mean to ask my...um, my guardian about it, once things grow a little warmer. It's not...exactly my residence, so I likely ought to ask permission first.
[text]
That's understandable. Hopefully they'll be okay with it!
[text]
[text]
Do flowers mean anything different depending on who you give them to?
[text]
...Oh, um, that is — can you give me an example, rather?

Ah...I wasn't matched to you, but those qualities you used to describe yourself are things I look for in a person as well. Not that I'm saying we should go...on a date or anything. But it would be nice to just meet some new people here too, I guess...
[Give him a moment while he just puts both feet directly into his mouth.]
I wouldn't feel right saying that I have all those qualities you look for, so much...but like I said, I think it would be nice to know you otherwise.

Well...My name is Kaneki Ken. I'm from Japan, Tokyo. I was attending college back home and studying Japanese Literature, there.
Um...I do enjoy reading a lot. Though I'm more partial to mysteries or horror stories...I will read just about anything. Because of that I guess you could say I can be a bit quiet, sometimes...but I find that reading is the best way to gain knowledge anyway. You can learn almost anything from reading, after all.
no subject
...What is it about mysteries and horror stories that makes them your favorite?
no subject
And, well...I enjoy reading stories that make you think, which most mysteries do. If you have a good author telling the story, that is. Horror and mystery find themselves closely intertwined a lot of the time, depending on what it is you're reading...so I find myself enjoying both.
[And he can't really say that the horror stories he's read are especially relatable to occurrences back home, alas.]
Do you read as well?
no subject
And yes, I do read! As much as is proper, at least; it's not at all seemly to have one's nose in a book all the time, of course.
no subject
What types of books do you like to read when you do, then?
no subject
[And sometimes romance novels, but you can't just say that, especially not to a stranger.]
