[This would be a Fuji, commandeering this bench, music sheets in hand. He's flipping through them with a look of contemplation on his face, absently unscrewing the lid on the canister of coffee that he brought along with him. Now-a-days, it's a little rare to see him about without being engaged in an argument or doing something questionable with food and whatnot, and he knows this too -- which is why he looks like he's enjoying this little bit of time off from full-time weirdness.

It's piano music, marked in black and white. There's also a Froslass hanging over his shoulder, breath misty in the warm, afternoon air. As the afternoon wears on, she starts humming tunelessly, and he chuckles, pointing out notes to her in low tones.

It's just a very lazy afternoon.]

Sounds like a busy month. Anything special planned for them, or is the concert just that?

Mm, no... I'll come up with something different. The concert's for everyone.

I was just thinking that it'd be nice to have something like that... you know, like a scrapbook? [ she's still taking good care of that White Day album. ] Even if I've been here for almost a year, I still don't have too many photos.

It's kind of hard to punch a well. But I'll ready my fist for next time! [ though if Vanitas hospitalizes her, she won't be as cheerful. ]

... [ grimacing slightly, before she releases a sigh. ] Eleven months-- it'll be a year on June 5th.

That long, huh. Your birthday must've passed already.

... Thaaat's a little complicated. Technically, I haven't had one yet.

[............. well, he's already gathered that she's not a leap year baby. It doesn't take long for him to figure this one out.]

So it's sometime between now and June 5th? Funny, how things work.

Would you believe it? One minute it's March, and the next, I've gone and missed my birthday by just a few days. [ it hadn't bugged her; Chie and Yukiko had been the only familiar people back then, and she'd been far more concerned with what to do with her new blue radish than anything else. ]

And so you ended up waiting for your birthday for a whole extra year. [this is kind of intriguing, in a way. how old would she be now?] But, well, do you know what they say -- good things come those who wait. Maybe they're gearing up for a big one.

By how many days is 'a few days'?

[ probably still younger than Fuji if they'd been in the same world, considering she was fifteen in 2011. She's honestly not sure if she'd be sixteen or seventeen by that point. ]

It'd be fun to celebrate it with everyone here, but that's a little harder with everyone getting scattered all the time! Anyway, it was by four days.

It's probably a good idea to figure out your vocal range, anyway. You don't know off-hand, do you?

Tenor, actually. But I do better with the harmonies, so I was generally assigned the alto parts.
