[Anywhere in Johto and Kanto, there are people interacting. Some of these strangers interacting with other strangers. Some of these folks are your old friends. The insanity has happened yet again, and boy will it be insane.

In short, this is The Ultimate Mingling post version 2, where everyone can run into each other again and again. Damage will only sometimes be repaired, but it doesn't matter--have fun with it! It's primarily for those in the fourth wall who run into another oddball from some other mythical land who's going "What's this place?" just like them, but for everyone who wants to just continue going nuts. Seriously guys, why did you guys let Sunny even bother writing a description. JUST DO FUN THINGS.

But try not to blow up the world, okay?

And as usual, any format is welcome.]

We will see. I...[She frowns. What did she even want to say? She absently looks down at her glowing hand, considering it for a moment before she just shakes her head.] From what I recall, the human rules on killing are very different from trolls. I cannot simply punish him as he deserves here, can I.

[ooc: She'd be completely grateful and treasure it always, of course. But that's at least partly because she's a sucker for pretty much whatever Rose does.]

Well...aside from that, you actually cannot full die here. You come close, but you never quite make it. Not that it is any more pleasant, really, but even if you wished to punish him as he deserves, I don't know if you'd ever succeed. It would likely be an endless endeavor.

[[ooc: Shh Kanaya it is not that amazing. It's just a lamp you're being silly.]]

[Well now that's a unique idea. Death is such a massive part of her entire culture, removing it is almost...sacriligious. And yet intriguing...]

How would that work, precisely? Last time I cut him in half with a chainsaw, it was very effective. It's hard to imagine it won't work twice.

[ooc: No no it is a wonderful lamp she will treasure it always. All other lamps are now inferior and will not receive a place of honor and show her where the bathroom is at night.]

Well, I'm not quite positive on the technical explanation, as honestly the method is not very technical. But from everything I've learned, those who find themselves on the brink of death would suddenly find themselves in a Pokemon center, patched up to ensure that they're alive and kept there to recover.

[[ooc: No no what she needs isn't a lamp. She needs a Lanturn. Or a Lampent.]]

Hmm. [A thoughtful pause.] It would almost be worth attempting simply to see what would happen. It would hardly be any great loss if you were wrong.

[Kanaya may be a very odd troll, but she's still a troll.]

[ooc: A lamp that can wander off just when you need it hardly seems like a good idea in the middle of the night. Plus how is she supposed to carefully treasure a gift Rose gave her if it keeps insisting on being alive?]

Just realize that you will have to deal with the repercussions. AKA dealing with the reaction of friends and strangers alike if you don't kill him somewhere secret. Might I suggest one of the many caves located around Johto?

Hmm. Having to keep such a thing secret would be new, but I suspect I could manage, if necessary. I take it people here disapprove of...[What would the phrase be...] Vigilante Justice?

[ooc: Wake up to use the bathroom, only the lamp fell asleep under the bed, now what? Hehe. Okay, this could be fun. I'd have to pick a canon point for her. Hmmm.]

Some do, some don't. It somewhat depends on where they were from. But keeping it a secret would likely be your best option.

[[ooc: That's why you invest in two. Obviously. And yes, good. The cast will love having you. And hehe, isn't that always the problem? Canon points are hard. They're hard and only Hamsteaks understand.]]

I can do that. Secrets aren't that difficult to keep. [This is kind of a lie but she'll manage.] What else do you think I need to know about this place?

[ooc: I think somewhere during the intermissions, maybe the second. I've been playing her from the more recent one, but Rose is involved with John here right? So bringing Kanaya in mid-date could be...erm. Extra awkward as far as initially adapting to the setting.]

All we'd have to worry about is discrediting Eridan should he ever bring it up. [[Humming in thought, she runs over any other information that might be necessary--oh yes, of course.]] The only thing that I think you would do well to learn now rather than through experience is not to eat the berries. They are not a natural source of food for you, no matter how wonderful they look.

[[ooc: Quite involved, yes. Rose would at least make things as easy as possible on Kanaya? If you still wanted to take her from there, at least. She is one laid back cookie in Route.]]

I can't imagine discrediting Eridan would be terribly difficult, not if he continues to be himself here.

[After all, nobody likes him.]

Why, what happens?

[ooc: I will have to think on it. Although that could be hilarious. "What do you mean you and John have been dating for a year I just watched you fall down a set of stairs while significantly inebriated after attempting to kiss me."

You would be correct in that assumption for the most part. With someone to help him be civil comes someone to believe him. And a variety of things, but the easiest way to describe them all is that you will likely get very, very ill.

It would not be difficult, still. I am perfectly capable of putting forward a better defense than he is.

I have no doubts in your skills. And good. The rest I can honestly simply show you. I'm sure that'd be a little more interesting than listening to me prattle on about it all.

I have never minded listening to you prattle on, Rose. [If anything, it was practically a requirement for being her friend.]

[ooc: And then Kanaya runs away for a month because oh my god awkward. She'll go live on Vriska's couch or something.]

Well then, we begin in the year 1996. A glorious year it was, but the only relevant piece of information that you need to care about is that this was the year Pokemon made its debut. [[This is when she whispers something to her scalebeast, who all too happily bends down to scoop Kanaya up. If Kanaya doesn't put up a fight, they will begin walking along like it ain't no thang!]]

Created as a pair of games for the Gameboy handheld gaming system, these video games featured a young hero who had finally become of age and therefor was sent on the journey of his lifetime. Pokemon at his side, it was now seemingly his job in society to embark on this adventure!

[[Are you sure you want to do this, Kanaya? Because she's just giving you Pokemon history to troll you. Since you apparently like listening to her talk so much.]]

[[ooc: The only problem with that is that Vriska's couch is kind of Rose's couch. #Travel Party Problems]]

[Kanaya at least scoops up her Roselia right before she's grabbed, and sets the little plant down behind her. Someone should probably tell her about pokeballs at some point.]

[She does listen at first, although enough of the words mean nothing that she eventually finds a moment to interrupt.]

[ooc: Oops. Well. She'll...sleep...oh crap she'll just stay and be painfully embarrassed.]

Basically, the entire point I suppose is to journey with your companion around the two different regions. Seeing sights, filling your Pokedex, catching and raising more if you so choose. If you're a trainer, it's generally accepted that you challenge gyms and win badges. If you're a breeder, you breed Pokemon. Of course, there's nothing wrong with doing the opposite despite your title. Hell, I've been doing both myself. You should have on you, somewhere, what is called a Pokegear. That is your everything, basically. Map, Pokedex, Radio, form of communication. Everything.

[[ooc: It's okay, Kanaya. Shhhh. At least she would be beginning in New Bark, so she'd have a little traveling to do to ease the awkward if they got the conversation out of the way early?]]

[As Kanaya listens, she starts hunting through her pockets, eventually coming up with a pokedex which she starts poking at absently.] It says I am a breeder.

[ooc: Hmm. Or I could bring her in from the second intermission, then when she comes back she'd know about them which would soften the 'oh god emotions go away'. Hmm. Although it wouldn't be as funny.]

Then the general idea is to breed your Pokemon. For what purpose other than to supply trainers with stock to choose from? I've no idea. Nor do I know how or why Johto choose who to be a trainer and who to be a breeder. It can be a rather rewarding job though.

Again though, if you'd prefer to travel and challenge gyms? You are completely allowed to. [[She digs into her purse, pulling out a slim badge case and showing it off. Through the glass cover you can see ten badges - eight from Johto, two from Kanto, though there's no indication which is which.]]

I'm six away from completing the set.

[[ooc: See? Canon points are hard.]]

Hmm. Both sound...distracting, at least. [She's still not sure about this whole prospect though.] How do you 'win' at breeding?

[This is a game, right?]

[Ooc: Indeed they are, and I shall have to think on it. as it would rather directly effect Rose, do you have an opinion? Also I am leaving work so no more speed tags. :(]

I'm not sure. I don't know if there is a way to 'win' at breeding. Perhaps monopolize the market, but that's not very fun if you're aiming to make friends.

[[ooc: I'm fine with either! Rose is extremely comfortable and concrete in her relationship, so she would more feel bad for Kanaya and the awkward situation she must be in than feel too much awkwardness herself over it. And that's okay! Have a good day!]]

Are there variations on health and stamina like frog breeding?

[She and Jade had spent far too much time breeding frogs, to be honest.]
