I took one Ground-type. That's it.

Nice. I remember taking on that gym and having no problems by using Dartanian. She actually gave up early because her Steelix wasn't going to do better than the two I just knocked out with single blasts of fire. [Let's not mention the part where he got his shoulder snapped because Dart didn't want to stop fighting.]

I could have swept her with my Typhlosion if I wanted, but he was like level 70 because he belonged to a different Sollux. I don't think he was even listening to me back then, the fucker. [Now that the rest of his team is around that level too, Sollux has been more considerate about letting him into the roster... but unfortunately, he can't change the nickname from ~ATH.]

You could always breed yourself whatever the lowest form of Typhlosion was and raise it, just to have one that listens more.
